  We got to ride with the Trail leader, who is a great great granddaughter of Ruby. If you go to this park, you’ll know who Ruby is. We had a great time riding on a a beautiful trail. The horses were great conversation along the trail. The staff were very very friendly people well worth your time.

  Great horses and enjoyable route with views. The horses seemed heslthy and well cared for. Beautiful day. However, one of the young workers, while assigning hirses said “which horse should we give the okd lady?” Quite insulting and insensitive.

  We traveled with our fam of 6, 4 girls ages 8-15. Beautiful view of the canyon and nice experience but 1 of the horses my daughter was on was unruly and the guide with us didn’t give much help. Very nervous for her and glad to get back. She won’t ride a horse again anytime soon. If all the horses had been as gentle as mine, it would have been a 10/10 experience. Or if there had been better supervision by the guide to step in and coach my daughter up on what to do, that would have been better too.

  It was an okay horseback excursion. The staff appeared to lack experience and we never had any information given to us along the route. But the view of Bryce Canyon was worth it!

  Very safe and well organized, a nice chance to ride along the rim without the scary trails going down into the canyon. Guides are very professional al and horses, mules, and equipment are in very good condition.

  Overall, just not a great experience. I’d advise on a higher level of professionalism. When we initially entered the area, there were an handful of staff - it was awkward walking in. At first there was silence, then unprofessional conversations, we didn’t feel welcomed. And the ride itself was boring, not worth the time or expense.

  Great tour through the forrest and then out to the rim. The horses are beautiful and well cared for. We had three guides to help on the trip, which was great for first time and weary riders. Even as an experienced rider, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think perhaps pulling new riders into a ring for 5 mins before we depart would be a good idea for new riders to learn how to use the reigns will help them be more confident on the trail. All in all, I loved this experience and all of the Ruby’s staff that helped set us up were awesome.

  We’re from Boston, this was my first horseback riding experience. Barry was an A+ guide and gentleman, and Russell brought the entertainment. We had such a wonderful time even though it rained a little. Grateful for their patience and professionalism!

  

  

  

• Not worth the money

  The ride was supposed to be 1.5 hours but was only 1 hour. The bulk of the ride is through the forest. Spent no time at the rim for photos or info. The people are very nice and the horses were good but the whole experience was not worth the money!
