• "A true delight at Château La Croizille." A must for Bordeaux lovers.

  We booked a tour followed by a wine tasting – and even the drive to the winery was an experience in itself. The grounds of Château La Croizille are impeccably maintained, and the warm welcome made us feel at home immediately. Our guide led us through the estate with great knowledge and charm, providing fascinating insights into the art of winemaking. Particularly impressive was the cellar, where countless barrels of various vintages are stored – a place that practically exudes history and craftsmanship. The subsequent tasting, accompanied by a breathtaking view over the vineyards, was a highlight of our visit. The served wines were simply superb and left a lasting impression on us. For lovers of Bordeaux wines, this winery is an absolute must. We will cherish our visit in the best memories. In the in-house shop, one also has the opportunity to take home one or two exquisite bottles with expert advice.

  Visit the vineyards and very interesting explanations. Our guide has explained all the winemaking processes of the estate. The wine tasting was very pleasant and allowed us to discover many wines. The venue also offers festive events.

  very complete visit of both castles with a very friendly guide. The next tasting was also qualitative with explanations about the wine followed by a glass of wine. Too bad that during the tasting there are not a few aperitif cakes to accompany the view is splendid

  I booked this tour as it was not very long and included wine tasting, the best bit!! You need a car, bike or Uber to get here from the centre. We were stranded afterwards but a very nice couple, luckily also from the UK gave us a lift back into the centre! Thanks Dave, if you ever read this!! The young man who took the tour was very informative and friendly. The vineyard is lovely with beautiful views. The wine we tasted was very drinkable so ended up buying the bottles, good job we had room in our suitcases! They do offer postage at a reasonable rate as their wines are only available in 2 restaurants in Saint Emilion, online and in Belgium.   We had booked to surprise our big children. A computer incident that quickly was solved and forgotten by a Welcome and a friendly visit (thank you Justin) . Very professional he knew how to transmit the passion and family soul of these two castles. I advise you with a sublime view of the vineyards while tasting very good wines and cheese boards.

  We walked to the site from our rented house in the morning. I was shocked by the view of this beautiful chateau, even though I approached it with my eyes fully immersed in the grape fields of the area. We met a few cyclists from Bordeaux; they added a little bit of dynamics to this peaceful place. The host was professional and made a quite good introduction to the chateau, as well as the wine producing process. The wine is not my type, but the old couple from Chile bought some.
