  If you are not familiar with San Francisco this is the tour you need. Small group and the tour guide is very friendly and ready to answer all your questions. The tour gives you a great impression from the city of San Francisco. I think he forgot about the drinks and snacks or the morning tour eat them all🤔

  My son and I wanted to see a lot of San Francisco in the limited time we had, so we signed up for this tour. I looked at some other similar ones but there were stories of missed pickups and van breakdowns here and there so I opted for the brand new VW bus! So glad we did. We were the only ones in our tour and our guide Chris let us know if we had any special requests he would try to accommodate! That was nice though we didn’t have any. The tour was a bit over 3 hours and we saw so many areas! Chris showed us the Presidio and gave detailed history about it, as well as The Castro, Haight Ashbury, Golden Gate Park (I knew nothing about this huge wonderful park!). We drive down Lombard Street and saw the old site of the World Fair and learned about the one area left standing after the fair. All along the way Chris explained the history and played music from artists that were from or formed in San Francisco. We were extreme comfortable in the VW electric van and Chris’s driving was good. I would absolutely recommend this tour. Now I know what areas I’d like to peruse longer on the next visit to San Fran!

  

  

  

• Sightseeing hits in a cool EV package!

  We booked a tour through Viator and met our guide Chris as the meeting spot near Union Square. As no one else had booked for this time we had a personal tour of much of San Francisco. As I was travelling with my 80 y.o. mother this was the best way for us to see a lot, learn a lot, and cope with the hills. Chris was an enthusiastic champion for SF and using the electric VW van was the best of both worlds; new tech and past traditions. I know the old buses are cool but every choice using fossil fuels matter. Strongly recommend this tour if you want to see many of the sight-seeing hits in 3 hours.

  Chris was the perfect guide and host for our tour. A brand new VW camper EV may not have the character of an old Skool Van - but it has comfort, no noise and no emissions as well as a trunk full of cold drinks and A/C. The tour was a blend of interactive conversation interspersed with stops at key city locations, with time to take in the sights and at pace that didn’t feel rushed but ensured we kept on track to get everything in. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a snapshot of the city with someone local who has the inside scoop and fun facts mixed with history.

  We had a fabulous tour with Chris! A great way to see the city in a short time. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about his love of the city. The van was very comfortable. Worth every dollar supporting a local independent business!

  Chris did a fantastic job, and his love for the city of San Francisco shines through. His knowledge is comprehensive, the electric VW is extremely comfortable, his route through the city hits all the highlights and more, and Chris dials in the details to the preferences of his guests. I highly recommend this tour.
