Robert Smalls Monument

John Mark Verdier House
ジョン・マーク・ヴェルディエ邸博物館（ジョン・マーク・ヴェルディエじゅうたくはくぶつかん、John Mark Verdier House Museum）は、アメリカ合衆国サウスカロライナ州ボーフォートにある、1804年頃にフランス語のユグノー商人で植栽家のジョン・マーク・ヴェルディエによって建てられた歴史ある連邦様式の邸宅である。 ベイ・ストリート801番地にある堂々たる家は、盛り上がったタビーの基礎、2階建てのペディメント・ポルチコ、優雅なシンメトリーなど、19世紀初頭の建築を象徴している。 藍貿易とシーアイランドの綿花農園からヴェルディエの富を誇示し、ボーフォートのダウンタウンの社交場となった。

5.00I took four coworkers to my hometown on a day trip. When I have taken guests in the past, I have started with carriage ride. It was difficult to book a June carriage ride, but this golf cart tour was a great replacement! It was so wonderful! Rick was our guide and was a novice in not only historical facts about Beaufort, but also truthful personal antidotes. I am speaking for all five of us when I say he could’ve driven us around for an additional hour and we would have enjoyed itso much! I highly highly recommend this tour and highly recommend Rick as a guide! For somebody who grew up in Beaufort, it was just enjoyable for me to learn more about my hometown as it was for my out of town visitors!

5.00This was a fun way to learn all about the history of Beaufort & see the gorgeous old historic homes & live oak trees of the area. Our guide Chase was a great historian! Would highly recommend this trip to other travelers.
