• Memorable Evening On The Seine

  The evening was lovely. Light fare foods (salads, snacks, cocktails, beverages) are available on shore prior to boarding. I was disappointed to hear American music on shore (especially in view of the Eiffel Tower) but I was SO HAPPY music on the boat was French!! The mood was PERFECT. The cruise was a highlight of our trip!

  Cruise was fine but definitely should have been more bartending staff. There was a line at the bar the entire time we were on the boat, which was just over an hour.

  pactful version of your review: I booked this boat tour months in advance for my daughter's birthday, only to have my 9:15 cruise canceled just six hours before departure. What made the situation even more frustrating was that it was the only boat canceled that day—other companies were operating as scheduled. When I called customer service, I was told we could simply take either the 8:45 or 10:00 boat instead. However, when we arrived, the manager was incredibly rude and refused to honor what we had been told over the phone. She would not allow us to board and showed no interest in resolving the issue, despite my explaining that I had booked months in advance and had already confirmed the alternate departure with the company. The complete lack of communication and the dismissive attitude from management ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. This was, without question, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to book elsewhere. There are other boat tour companies that value their customers and provide much better service. I would never use this company again and cannot recommend it.

  This evening river cruise at seine river was very special for me as coming from Kolkata ,India and enjoying a ride with my family and so many people and catching the likes of Eiffel towe and Norte Damne in the evening lights was terriffic

  Oversold the boat during the extreme heat…. We got in line 25 minutes before boarding (directions were 20) to find a huge line of people …we were able to get a seat together but in the middle of the boat not on the edge and they let l continued to let people on. We were stuck these middle seats with tons of competitors driving by who had plenty of room and what seemed to be open seating with people moving around. Not the experience Verdettes is selling on the website. Wish I would have booked with Bateaux Parisians/Mouches where people looked like they were having fun not crammed in like sardines on 101 degree evening. Company definitely putting dollars over customer experience. On the positive…. We didn’t crash/sink etc….

• Best way to see the City of Lights

  It was not clear which boat we were supposed to go on once we got to the port area where all of the boats dock, but once we did everything went smoothly. This is a very basic Cruise that takes you up the Seine River for probably about a mile or two and then it turns around and goes back the other way. So don't worry about what side you're sitting on because you will see both sides. What I will say is Paris is the City of Lights and this was the perfect way to see that. Make sure that you check what time sunset is on the day that you plan to be there and book your ride accordingly. Our sunset wasn't until after 10:00 p.m. so we took the 10:00 p.m. Tour and it worked out perfectly. At about 11:00 p.m. The Eiffel Tower does a light show. This was spectacular and I highly recommend!

  The tour was actually very enjoyable. We arrived earlier than they suggested and luckily we did because we were able to secure a seat on the 3rd row of the ship. Being that we went to the 10pm tour, it was still not completely dark outside and we were able to view the sunset and the Eiffel Tower sparkle. The monuments glowed and were lit well enough for some amazing photos. I definitely recommend this tour especially for the reasonable price! The only recommendation I would make is that for first time visitors to Paris, the three flags can’t be seen from the street. It would’ve helped to have been told that you have to walk down the steps to reach the pier.

  No narration just French music playing as you travel up the seine. Good value for the money. if you’re looking for something simple with just a drive for an hour this is your cruise.

  This was our last night in Paris and we wanted to do something that didn't involve a lot of walking. Ha! It is a nice cruise down the Seine. We opted for the glass of wine, not bad. They offered other snacks and more wine for purchased. We sat on the bar level and I'm glad we did because the other level had speakers that blared nice but extremely loud music. It was an enjoyable cruise. Book at dusk or night so you can see the City of Lights and the Eiffel Tower twinkling.

  This boat does not have a top floor. Awful boarding process. Crappy view due to roof on top on one floor boat. DO NOT BOOK.
