  Blackhawk Boat Tours was the highlight of our Chicago visit! Captain Ken made the tour informative, fun, and engaging with great stories and insights about the city. We loved experiencing both the Chicago River and Lake Michigan in one trip, with incredible views of the skyline and architecture. What really sets this tour apart is that it's the only one that passes Lake Shore Drive six times, offering unique perspectives you won't get anywhere else. Beautiful scenery, great information, and an excellent captain—highly recommend!

  I enjoyed the experience. It was very informative. I would recommend that you wear a sweater or jacket because of the winds during the ride.

  Fantastic trip for a very reasonable price. The host was friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip a real pleasure. We were delighted to find this trip also included the city river tour in the price. One very slight improvement would be to make the location a little better signposted but we would definitely book again.

  Captain Ken is experienced/capable on the water, accommodating, and informative. Perfect tour for a couple (or up to six people). We thoroughly enjoyed our time and learned a lot. Guests on other tour boats were jealous of our personalized fun experience.

  We had a fantastic tour with Captain Ken. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. Our tour happened to coincide with the annual air show which was so cool to see from the lake…and Captain navigated all of the extra boat traffic seamlessly. We also did a more traditional river architecture tour with another company the day prior and I can confidently say skip that and do this instead. Our kids (12, 12 and 9 y/o) loved this tour as well (especially the fast parts)!

  Captain Ken was great. My son and I had a blast on the trip. The RIB was a great vessel to explore Lake Michigan and The Chicago River. Most unique boat on the water.
