Visiting Bendigo by train

5.00We went on the train to Bendigo. It was 2 and half hours. Lovely scenery along the way. With a few clouds. But by the time we came ìnto Bendigo out came the sun. The Bendigo tourist information people were outside the station giving out maps of the city, so we walked through the streets to the gardens. Had lunch at the The Shamrock Hotel. What a beautiful building. Then walked through the gardens to the Chinese museum and garden. It was a lovely day exploring Bendigo. It was then time to catch the train back to Melbourne.

5.00Friend and I did this tour on 25th April, James was a great host and very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience , one suggestion it would be good to wear name tags as easy to forget people's names. Thankyou James we will certainly go on more of your tours. Anne.

5.00A Taste of Bendigo - Summer Foodie Walking Tour was fabulous. We had a fabulous day with good food, wine, beer and venues that are a must in Bendigo. Caught the train from Melbourne for the tour returning back to Melbourne early evening. A fabulous day and some stories of Bendigo to go with it. Thanks Jamie. Highly recommend this experience.
