• Hearing issues with poor sound system

  Sound issues. I have difficulty hearing and the sound from both presenters was reverberating and even though I was close and it was loud I could not understand a word t hey wete saying. My family also indicated the same and they gave no hearing problems. When outside the presenter was able to be heard but inside it was extremely poor. You need to sit in the stalls with a crowd and you will see what I m mean about the sound reverberating. A much better sound quality sound is required. Also the two presenters had accents and it was very hard to understand what they were saying with the poor quality sound system.

  This is a great experience, and you even get to watch a Gold bar being made. Very informative tour. I really enjoyed looking at the gold!

  Wow, I thought this was going to be just another tour filled with information, but WOW it was great , very interesting and enough detail without becoming too detailed. The guide was friendly and engaging, and kept the pace of the tour going. It was great to see the pouring of a gold bar, and I found it especially interesting to see how quickly a molten gold bar cools down.

  My expectations weren't high but was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed the tour and found it was reasonable in price and I think worth the cost. The " guide" was a delight and made it as enjoyable as it was. Easy to get to and your there about an hour and then however long you walk around the shop part. Was a nice experience.

  Gets fully booked at busy times so make sure you book in advance. Even on the same day at Easter tickets were selling fast. Not very friendly initial greeting on the desk. Tour guide was very enthusiastic and we enjoyed the gold pour. Just to let you know that it does go dark for a while and you are not allowed to move from your seat. It was interesting to see the gold pour

  The Mint Gold Tour is excellent split between two guides, both informative. Live gold pour is very cool. Not much to see here if you do not get the tour as you are limited to the front retail area were they just sell coins and jewelry. Tour gets you behind the scenes into the foundry and some excellent displays including the 1 tonne gold coin and chance to handle a gold bar.

  A great tour with a very informative host who explained everything and still left us with time to explore. Unfortunately the gold pour wasn't available during our visit - I guess that just means will have to repeat when next in Perth

  A great tour, with an excellent host who made the explanations interesting. Only downside was the gold pour wasn't operating - so will have to save that until the next visit to Perth
