大フレスコ画 : コンサートホールの内部は、コスティン・ペトレスク作の全長 75 m のパノラマフレスコ画によって囲まれている。 ローマによるダキア征服から国土統一まで、ルーマニアの歴史の25の要となる場面が描かれている。

Exceptional tour of art and history in the Atheneum

5.00We had a great one hour tour with Sebastian at the Atheneum meeting us on time at the statue. We learned a lot about the history of the building, the beautiful interior, the incredible painted mural inside and we heard a musician playing his violin - so beautiful. There is much to learn about this building and the dedication to procuring all the materials and craftsmanship that went into it. Sebastian has a wealth of knowledge that he shared and answered all our questions about Romania! He is definitely a superior guide. I would highly recommend this tour.

5.00An amazing building inside. Not particularly big but very intricate. Only 15 Lei to visit. If you have cash you can enter by the right side door. If you need to pay by card (like we did) you can purchase tickets at the box office on the left side of the building and then walk round to the right. We were lucky to be able to watch an orchestra practicing in the auditorium, getting an insight into the work behind a performance.
