  We toured South Wales with Gareth. The ride was very comfortable and safe. He is native to Wales and has a vast knowledge of Welsh history. He also provides a personal perspective so that you learn about the nuances of the culture and language. We enjoyed all the stops and had plenty of time to look around. Thank you!

  The tour of Pembroke, Tenby and Laugharne was excellent. Gareth is extremely knowledgeable about Welsh history, language and culture. He gave us tips at every stop on the best routes to make the most of our time. It was a great day.

  I had to cancel my Welsh Valleys Tour with Tours of Wales due to a serious medical issue that forced me to cancel my entire planned trip to the UK. Gareth handled my cancellation with remarkable generosity and transparency — refunding everything he possibly could and honestly explaining that the small booking fee was outside of his control to return. That kind of straightforward honesty and genuine care for his customers is something you rarely encounter. The Welsh Valleys Tour was one of the experiences I was most looking forward to on my trip, and the warmth and integrity shown by Gareth has made me determined to book again when I am able to return to the UK. I cannot recommend Tours of Wales highly enough.

  Did not disappoint! Our guide was thoroughly knowledgeable about Welsh history and language. Very affable. Plenty of time to see the sites and have free time as well. Will book another tour with him next time we’re in Cardiff!

  We saw some amazing towns and learned so much about the area from our tour guide. He was knowledgeable and interesting. It was a great option after a late night, because I slept the 2 hours on the way to the first stop. You will go to the beach, so if it’s a sunny day bring a beach towel to enjoy the beautiful view. We loved the town of Tenby and the home of Dylan Thomas.
