  We had a fabulous time touring Trieste with Sarah. She was fun and informative, and had a wide breadth of knowledge to share which she tailored to our interests. We had a three hour tour of the principal sights which surprisingly flew by. Thanks to Sarah, we now feel less like tourists and more like locals as we walk through this beautiful city. We would heartily recommend the tour to anyone looking for a “slice of life” in Trieste. Thank you, Sarah! 😘

  This private, one-on-one tour with Nour was one of the highlights of my stay in Trieste. As a solo traveler, I appreciated having the flexibility to move at my own pace, ask questions, and explore topics that interested me most. Nour took me far beyond the typical tourist experience and introduced me to parts of the city and surrounding area that I never would have discovered on my own. We explored the beautiful Barcola waterfront, visited the spectacular Miramare Castle, and continued through charming villages and scenic viewpoints before finishing in Trieste's historic Città Vecchia (Old Town), wandering through the atmospheric streets of Cavana. Along the way, Nour shared local history, culture, and insights that brought the region to life. What made this tour special was the balance between the famous sights and the hidden gems. We enjoyed beautiful coastal views, local neighborhoods, a peaceful pond where we stopped for lunch, and landscapes that looked exactly like the Italy I had imagined before my trip. My fitness app recorded over 10 kilometers of walking, but the time flew by because there was always something interesting to see or learn. Nour's enthusiasm, knowledge, and genuine love for Trieste were evident throughout the day. My only regret is that I didn't take this tour at the beginning of my stay in Trieste. Nour provided so many excellent recommendations for restaurants, cafés, gelato shops, neighborhoods, and local experiences that it would have helped shape the rest of my visit. If you're planning to spend several days in Trieste, I strongly recommend booking this tour early in your trip. If you want to experience Trieste beyond the usual guidebook attractions and gain a deeper appreciation for the city and its surroundings, I highly recommend this tour—and especially Nour as your guide.

  

  

• Informative Guide and pleasant walk around Trieste

  Our Guide Gioia was extremely well informed and took a lot of time to explain the History of Trieste with it's many churches, cathedrals and archeological sites. We learnt a lot in 2 hours which was perfect as we did not have much time in this city. We also appreciated her lunch recommendation as well as the best Gelato (Marco) place in Trieste.

  Student Nour has shown us not only the most important sights of Trieste, but also the hidden places where the locals like to go. What we also really enjoyed was hearing her personal stories about living and studying in this city. Nour tailored the tour well to our wishes, so we got to know Trieste in a relaxed and authentic way. Highly recommended!

  Gioia did a spectacular job sharing important places with historical significance during our 3 hour walking tour. She is extremely knowledgable and shared local Trieste traditions and spots to consider visiting in the upcoming days. As expected we walked the entire 3 hours and learned a lot thanks to Gioia’s expertise. She reached out ahead of time to get to know us better and better understand our expectations for the tour. I strongly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the history of Trieste!
