  My wife and I visited Valencia for a 2nd time. This time we opted for a private tour of the city with Valencia Private Tours, best decision ever! Everything worked out flawlessly, from initial booking to end of the 6 hour tour. Our guide, Josep was amazing! At first we thought a 6-hour Private tour may be a bit long, but Josep made it feel incredibly interesting the entire time and was the most pleasant person to hangout with, while learning all about Valencia, and Spain in general. I would highly recommend Valencia Private Tours and Josep to anyone looking to visit Spain! Thank you Kate and team Valencia Private Tours! See you next time!

  My wife and I are considering moving to Valencia. Never having been here Kate recommended the neighborhoods and barrios tour. We were seeking information that would be valuable for those choosing to move to Valencia. And because there was so much to see and so much information to absorb Kate suggested and we requested 2-half day tours rather than one full day. Kate made it happen. On each of the days we were picked up at our hotel and driven around. After the first day Issa communicated to our second day guide Claire where she had taken us to prevent duplication and to maximize our exposure to all the neighborhoods and surrounding areas of Valencia. Issa and Claire were our guides and they were knowledgeable, sharing of their abundant local knowledge and receptive to our many questions. Their wealth of knowledge in all matters of living here were shared, transportation education healthcare facilities social opportunities shopping and recreation. We would definitely recommend Valencia Private Tours to those thinking of moving to this city to gain insight into the different neighborhoods.

  Carlos was an amazing guide who showed us so much of Valencia but we never felt rushed. Visited all the highlights including the Silk Exchange and Carhedral with the Holy Grail. Had a lovely lunch and he even helped my daughter find a new dress when her strap broke ;). Outstanding day!!

  Highest marks starting with the initial contact with Valencia Private Tours‘ owner Kate, and continuing through the excellent day spent touring Valencia with private guide Vincent. Kate exudes warmth and professionalism and Vincent was totally knowledgeable and very good company during our eight hour tour. I can highly recommend Valencia Private Tours.

  The restaurant at the Barcelo hotel in Valencia is a very good choice for dining. We went with friends to dinner, the Service and the quality of what we ate was excellent. The waitresses were on the lookout for everything we could need, no need to call them at all. The service has been more than exquisite, 10 for all staff. The place chosen to sit was perfect, there were 13 diners and they placed us in a shape, that we could all see each other and share the starters without any problem. In short very good professionals.

  We only had a couple of days in Valencia, so we decided to take a full-day tour. This was a great choice and allowed us to ensure we saw and learned everything about Valencia within the time we had. Our tour guide, Claire, was amazing. She picked us up and gave us a fantastic tour. She is energetic, positive, and eager to show us this wonderful city. She was always ready to adjust the tour to suit our preferences, but when we didn't have a specific plan, she was prepared with an alternative. For example, the tour started at 9:00, and we hadn't had coffee or breakfast, and Clarie had no problem taking us someplace before the tour even began. She was also great with my children, making sure to engage and point out things that would be interesting to them. Her local knowledge gave us insights we wouldn't have otherwise received. We would take a tour with her again. Claire met us at our hotel in a car and drove us around. The majority of the tour, however, was walking around the older part of the city. She was great at explaining how the organization of the town is connected to its history. When this was done, she drove us to the City of Arts and Sciences. This is not to be missed, and it is my favorite part of the tour. I found it amazing that we could go from ancient Roman ruins to a city that looks like it is from the future. Don't forget to try some Horchata there. Claire led us to some that was the best we had in Spain. Our tour concluded with a drive along the beach and through the farmland. We had another appointment at 5:00, and Claire made sure we were there on time. If you are looking for a personal tour of Valencia, look no further.

  Our guide was fantastic and super helpful. We got a really complete picture of the city, saw a ton of things, had a wonderful lunch and really enjoyed chatting with her in amongst it all.

  We had a custom real estate tour outside of the city. Kate hooked us up with one of her colleagues who had lived in all the areas of interest to us. She gave us practical day-to-day living insight comparing the various locations, and also was able to make contact with realtors and builders for us who had not responded to our online enquiries. The Horchata and ice cream at La Caseta in L’Eliana was fabulous too!

  What a great day! We had already been in València for a couple of days, and Vicent showed us many details we had missed on our self-tour. We went to a fantastic subterranean museum filled with Roman ruins. The drive to the birthplace of paella is a fun dining experience. We saw so much that day but we still filled another day of touring on our own thanks to Vicent’s recommendations. This is the best way to experience the best of València!

  We were there in April 2025 as part of a cruise and wanted to book a tour away from the full bus tours offered via the cruise. The contact was very professional at short notice and within a few hours an individual tour with a guide in our native language (German) was organized. Our tour guide Rick was very knowledgeable and did a great job of adapting the tour to our wishes and needs (two children, one older person who was not so good on foot). A restaurant visit on recommendation and a subsequent return trip to the ship was also organized without further ado. The stories about the beautiful city and the sights were entertaining and informative. Even though the trip was not exactly inexpensive, we enjoyed it very much and it ensured that we will remember Valencia as a particular highlight of our cruise.
