On the island, thousands of different birds nest and linger, such as the eider duck or the puffin. The nature, the view of the sea and the mountains, and the experience of this visit is incredible and wonderful.

Amazing experience... family that owns the island and served as guides could not have been lovelier...got to see lots of birds and several puffins... probably the best tour of our trip... hope to support their foundation as well. They also went out of their way to assist our travel companion that uses a walker.

We visited on the first day of the Vigur team taking the operation 'in house'. Firstly we were lucky with the weather. The boat arrived at the dock on time and a friendly greeting from Felicity, the guide for the day as well as owner of the island. The crossing to the island was beautiful and after quick introduction we were taken to see the puffins, eider ducks, recently arrived artic terns and more. Then free time to wander around. The noise made by the ducks is so comical as they wander around the island in pairs. The included coffee and cake were most welcome. All too soon the bell was rung and time to get the boat back to the mainland.
