5.00It was a very good experience, we were not expecting our guide to be so fun, friendly and very good at their work were very well spent hours to know the charms of Vila Viçosa with all its stories. My mother was delighted, although she already knew some things about the history of the village, our guide still managed to surprise her. It was very easy and uncomplicated the entire logistics process and the amount paid, well worth it. In short... WE LOVE IT!!! Thank you Joaquina 🙏

5.00Wonderful experience!!! It is impossible to leave Vila Viçosa without taking a guided walk with João Bravinho! He is a magnificent guide, with an extraordinary sense of humour, impressive knowledge of history and a love of his city that is felt throughout the visit. Also note your kindness and your desire that the visitor leaves Vila Viçosa with a smile and eager to return. Not to mention your command of Spanish! Impressive!!! Thank you very much, João, for making us feel at home!

5.00An excellent tour through the history of Vila Vicosa, with stories about the wars with the Spanish, the history of the castle, the Dukes of Briganza and the fortunes of more recent characters. Our guide grew up within the castle walls and is truly an expert when it comes to the history of her town. This gave the tour a nice personal touch.

5.00What an incredible experience! We loved our walking tour through this beautiful town to learn its history and admire the gorgeous architecture. Our tour guide, Joaquina a local resident, born and raised in the town gave wonderful insight with passion. She is a fantastic guide! One of the best we have had in all our travels through Europe! Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Discovering Vila Viçosa and its history on foot is unmissable. The guide Joaquina Peixinhos is very interesting and the streets of the village are very well preserved, as are the walls, churches and museums.

5.00We were able to experience an informative and enjoyable city tour of Vila Viçosa, organized by "Rota do Mármore AE". It was not our first time in this charming town, but the first time where we had more time and wanted to learn more about the place. That was a very good decision! Our super sympathetic guide, Joaquina, has brought us closer to the quite significant history of this place with a lot of enthusiasm and insider knowledge. We hung on to their lips, so to speak, and through all this information we have now also got a deeper relationship with the area and with Portugal in general. Tourism is only gradually waking up in this area of the Alentejo and we really enjoyed the fact that it was very tranquil back and forth in Vila Viçosa (at least in early May).
