• Don’t skip the whitewater adventure!!

  Our family traveled from California hoping to find both high adventure for our older, more experienced kids and a family-friendly rafting experience for our youngest—and Go Raft Sjoa delivered both beautifully. We were able to experience the river altogether while still meeting everyone’s level of adventure. We stayed at the rafting outpost, which was campy, cute, and comfortable. Booking the wood-fired sauna and hot tub for both nights was absolutely worth it—just be sure to plan ahead, since they take time to prepare. These touches really added to the whole experience. There are several rafting companies in the area, but what stood out to us about Go Raft Sjoa is the quality and consistency of their guides. Many have returned year after year, and their experience, knowledge, and focus on safety were clear throughout. Since we own a rafting company in California, our standards are high, and Go Raft Sjoa did not disappoint. A huge thank you to the owner, our hosts including Barbara, and our guides Sam, Mickey, and Sacsha—you made our trip unforgettable.   Very fun and exciting experience with the family with two teenagers! We wore base layers under our wetsuits and didn't freeze. Good guides!

  Solo traveler. No problem. I was warmly welcomed and had a great time! There were plenty of rapids, excellent instruction, and fantastic guides!

  Fun activity with the kids. Nice guides. We had to swim in the river and jump off rocks. Balance games on the boat and the opportunity to try to steer the boat.

  Very welcome team members and Sacha our guide for adventure. Good sensations and great team “The team”! Snack break with coffee on the way back looking at the pictures taken during the descent. It was great, thank you

  It was perfect, beautiful place and a top team!! A superb first experience in rafting, we were 8 for 5 guides and we felt perfectly surrounded. There was a photographer who took great pictures for 170 nok.

  Fantastic descent over the Sjoa River. The guidance is enthusiastic and professional. Gerardo provides the most adventurous route, without giving us the feeling that things could go wrong. Top!It gets spicy at times, but that is extra enjoyment.

  What a great company! Great guides and very gracious and friendly owner and staff. We had a great time with a family of four- 2 boys age 15 and 16! Sam is a great guide- informative and funny! And also a great photographer with us on the trip! Thank you very much for showing us Sjoa river!

  We were only three people and got assisted by two guides. One with us and one on a separate boat. The trip was very well structured and the guides took their time and gave excellent care. Thanks a lot Jerry!
