• Excellent Kerala Trip with Great Planning and a Reliable Driver

  I booked my Kerala trip through Iris Holidays and had a very positive experience overall. The planning was done via email, and the team was responsive and flexible, adjusting the itinerary to my preferences and interests. The pricing felt reasonable for the quality of the experience, and the hotels and resorts selected throughout the trip were excellent. A special mention goes to our driver, Vipin. He was always on time, easy to reach by phone, and his car was consistently clean and comfortable. He is a friendly, smiley and chatty person who made the long drives enjoyable. He also suggested activities along the way and was happy to adapt the daily programme based on my wishes rather than following a rigid schedule. Kerala itself was beautiful, and having everything well organised allowed me to simply enjoy my solo female trip. Overall, I would recommend Iris Holidays to anyone looking for a well-planned Kerala holiday with good accommodation and reliable local support.

  Iris holidays were excellent from beginning to end. We did a 6 day/5 nights tour. Sanju was our awesome driver and we felt safe being with him. The itinerary was perfect. Munnar 2 nights/Thekkady/Allepey and Fort Kochi. Every day we did something amazing. Tea plantations, sunrise on an exciting jeep ride, wildlife reserve, houseboat stay and historic Fort Kochi. We were lucky enough to spot an Indian leopard on the boat cruise in the Periyar wildlife reserve. So very cool. Everyone in Kerala has been so friendly towards us, we feel very blessed.   We had a wonderful experience with our driver, Mr. Anson, throughout our 9-day trip. He was extremely punctual every day and always ensured that we reached our destinations on time. He was also very patient with us and never rushed us, which made the entire journey comfortable and stress-free. Mr. Anson was friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist whenever we needed anything. His positive attitude and professionalism truly enhanced our trip and made it even more enjoyable. Throughout the journey, we felt safe, well cared for, and completely at ease. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend Mr. Anson to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and excellent driver.   It's really is the God's own country.We have spent 4 nights and 5 days here and it was a lifetime experience. From IRIS holidays, Sara was with us all the time as a support.She really planned and managed very well.Our cab driver Antony Babu is an amazing, honest and intelligent person,who guided us whenever we needed. He is a skillful driver too. Overall stay accomodation and visit everything was worth every penny spent. Next time we will choose only IRIS for trips.Lots of 💕

  We stayed in Kochin, Munnar and Thekkady across 5 nights. The trip was amazing, and Iris Travel agency ensured that our entire trip was made simple, easy, and convenient . Furthermore, our driver(Akhil) was truly amazing. We'd specifically ask for him next time. He is reliable, punctual, alert and attentive.

  An absolutely outstanding holiday — highly recommended! From the very first pick-up to the final drop-off, Iris Holidays delivered a truly exceptional experience. The holiday was brilliantly planned from start to finish, with a fantastic variety of activities and locations that kept things fresh and interesting throughout. Every hotel we stayed in was top quality — not a single disappointment.   Our Kerala trip was an amazing experience from start to finish — very well organized, with extremely friendly and professional service throughout. Everyone we met during the trip was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the journey even more special. A special thanks to our guide and driver, Anish, who was outstanding. He was always punctual, drove very safely, and constantly made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He gave us great recommendations, shared interesting local insights, and honestly advised us on what was truly worth doing and where we could save money. His kindness, reliability, and helpful attitude made a huge difference and added so much value to our trip. We truly enjoyed every moment in Kerala and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting.

  Iris Holidays was recommended to us by friends who had travelled with Iris in 2019. From the moment we contacted them, we received attentive service. Our contact and holiday planner, Akshay, was polite and responsive, and designed our six day Kerala tour around our flight timings into Cochin. We communicated effectively via WhatsApp. We were met at the airport by our guide and driver, Afsal. We ended up driving around 700 km with him, and he navigated safely through the chaos of meandering cows, marauding mopeds, and killer buses. Afsal has a great sense of humour, and we shared many laughs along the way. From (seemingly) illicit beer runs to stopping off for local fruit sampling, he was always thoughtful and helpful. Note that it is very expensive for hotels to obtain a licence to serve alcohol, and they would need to pass that cost on to guests who purchase drinks, often leading to poor reviews, so many don’t bother. Our tour, based on the Iris honeymoon package, included a visit to the tea plantations of Munnar, where we reached just under 2,000 m at the highest point. The views were spectacular, with plenty of selfie opportunities! I recommend asking your planner to book you at the Leaf Resort, an amazing place. We stayed there for two nights, and it was the best accommodation of our three weeks in India. Afsal always kept us informed with local insights and would stop to show us coffee and cardamom plantations. We were genuinely sad when saying goodbye at the airport. Do note that the driver follows a daily itinerary, which may include activities that incur additional charges or expect tips. With lots of driving, busy roads, and constant sights to take in, the trip can be a bit tiring at times. We didn’t feel obliged to do everything and sometimes skipped one or two activities in favour of returning to the hotel earlier to relax. We’re not sure if we simply got lucky with Afsal, but we had a fantastic tour of Kerala with Iris. I would happily use them again and recommend them to others.
