Come explore the Alaska Wilderness off the road. Explore in a guided and climate controlled Search & Rescue Fat Truck/Sherp while staying safe from the weather, bugs, and the occasional wild animal. This 3 Hour tour takes you off road up steep mining trails to vista views, teaches you about the local history, and geological formations near Denali National Park in an adventurous off road Fat Truck search & rescue vehicle. (Plan on about 3.5-4 hours if using the the hotel shuttle service from select hotels during the summer season)

5.00Our entire family loved this tour. This is a family run business, and they have put a lot of time, love, and attention into it. Both of our kids were engaged (11 and 15) and Lisa was the best. She was kind, funny, knowledgeable, and made sure that our group was having fun as well as learning. She went out of her way to make sure we saw a moose and didn't mind at all when my daughter wanted to look at rocks in the river. There are headsets in the trucks that allow you to talk to each other without screaming and everyone had a pair of binoculars. This was probably our favorite "Excursion" that we did while in Denali and we did a lot of them. We would defiantly do it again.

5.00Tour guides went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the experience. Joel, the owner, helped us take fun photos and provided a really cool drone video of our group at the end of the day all included in our initial ticket price. My wife and I thought we received exceptional value and highly recommend this tour to anyone. We loved our tour guide Stefan, he made the tour truly special. Good job Stefan!!

5.00One of a kind experience! We had so much fun on the Sherp tour! If you are lucky enough to get on Tim’s rig he is this a lot of fun. Highly recommended if you are spending some time in Denali.

5.00This was the highlight of our trip to Denali. Our guide, Stephan, was very knowledgeable and explained things as we went along. Everyone of our guides that day was friendly and helpful. It felt like they were all having as much fun as we were. To be honest, I was more interested in the SHERP’s than the rest of the tour, but the tour was fun too. We did some amazing things in those vehicles. The ride was less punishing on my back than a normal off-road vehicle. We swayed from side to side a bit but it as way less bumpy than I thought it would be. All in all, it was a fun time, we got great pictures and the vehicles were the star of the experience.

5.00What an amazing and different experience. Our guide Joel was an absolute wealth of information. I would absolutely do this again. 3 hours was nowhere near long enough! Cannot recommend this tour enough. Being a small family run business made it all the more special!

5.00Our guide Stephen was fabulous could couldnt have been more helpful. Possibly one of the best guides we have encountered so far 4 weeks into out trip of Canada and Alaska. Stephen was very knowledgeable about our surroundings and explained everything we were witnessing. To drive where we did and then down the creek bed onto the lake was great. Definitely Sherpa drive material but for a couple in their 70s we felt safe and enjoyed the ride.

5.00Absolutely the best experience we have done in Alaska. We are visiting from Ohio and found this tour last minute and decided to go based on the reviews. Our tour guide Joel and his staff were amazing The Sherp took you places you could not go on an ATV plus you didn’t get wet or covered in dust or dirt It is well worth the money -you even get a video and staff took incredible photos for you This is a 10 star operation. If you are going to do one thing in Alaska, do this!
