Our public tour on our brand new 49 passenger vessel! Meet our Guest Rep at your cruise ship dock and board our courtesy shuttle. Enjoy a scenic ride to the Auke Bay boat harbor and return (about 25 minutes each way). Each tour includes a dedicated stop to see the Mendenhall Glacier from the water (weather dependent). Enjoy the difference of a personalized tour! This 4 hour and 5 minute tour includes approximately 1 hour of round trip transfer time, 2.75 hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, walking on the dock to the boat, and bathroom breaks.

If on a cruise ship, we MUST know which one. There are five docks in Juneau, we will pick you up from YOUR cruise ship once provided.
Customers MUST reach out to Harv & Marvs directly to make sure they have the required pick up information. We are not liable for missed tours due to a lack of provided information. This information is crucial to our ability to provide this tour.

We are NOT wheelchair accessible. Our buses and smaller boats do not have ramps to get on board. In addition, our space is very limited. This tour is not recommended for those needing assistance to enter/exit our vessels.
Collapsible strollers and wheelchairs can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark, must be noted at time of booking

5.00This was the best tour you could ask for. Our van driver Corky was super friendly and gave us some highlights on the way there and back. Tess our guide was super knowledgable and made the tour extra exciting. The boat driver Alex was fantastic at finding the whales and also super respectful. The star was the sheer quantity of whales we saw. We believe we saw 15 different humpback whales, some came super close to our boat and put us on whale jail for an extended period of time. We saw baby Goose too! We also got an added bonus of seeing 4 Orcas. Truly an unbelievable experience!

5.00This was amazing! Harv & Marv company is the way to go. More time on the water than other companies. I had accidentally booked 45 passenger vessel through Viator, but there was only 10 in our group so Harv & Marv put us on a smaller vessel for 18 people. (You can only book 45 person vessel in Viator). If you want a guaranteed smaller vessel, you may want to book directly through Harv and Marv. Captain Dan was an amazing captain and knew how to communicate and navigate the waters to get us to the best spots. Nick was also amazing helping us learn about the whales and their environment, giving as a special experience. We had perfect weather. The boat we were on was enclosed with windows that opened if you had rainy weather. It also had an open bow and aft that allowed you outside for viewing and taking pictures. I would advise you to use the bathroom before you board the boat as the bathroom is like a porta potty and very small. We were fortunate enough to see the humpback whales as well as Orcas! Our captain Dan gave us the choice if we wanted to continue watching whales or go see the very large seals they have in the area. Harv & Marv were on time picking us up at port (awesome bus driver…I’m sorry I don’t remember his name but funny and great). And aware of our time in the water, getting us back in time for our ship. Again…highly recommend Harv & Marv!!

5.00A great trip with very knowledgeable guides and captain. Boat very comfortable and we were encouraged to step outside to see the wildlife. We actually saw 7 ….yes 7 different whales. Our guide quickly identified each one and gave us background on each whale, including their names, ages and individual quirks! It was the outstanding trip of the holiday. Great organisation and safety was stressed throughout. Don’t hesitate to book this excursion, it was excellent in all ways

5.00This was the highlight of our time in Juneau. Dalton, Nic, and Daniel knew exactly where to go to maximize our time and see just about everything the bay had to offer, while providing facts about both the species as a whole, and the individual whales we saw. Garrett also kept things entertaining and informative on the bus ride to and from the dock. Would absolutely book this again.

5.00Awesome excursion! Coral, Alexis and Dalton were fantastic. Saw lots of whales, sea lions and a couple of bears! Jack the bus driver was also great sharing details about the glacier and the areas around Juneau

5.00This trip was truly the best from Start to finish , was a bit worried at first with timings as we were off a cruise ship , I shouldn’t have worried . Everything was managed so well . The boat was beautiful and spacious (was sitting upstairs ) was giving a drink and snack as we set off. And as guaranteed we seen whales and also quite a few orcas . Was back to the ship with plenty of time for spare . The staff had lots if knowledge and answered lots of questions
