The difference between Amsterdam during daytime and Amsterdam during nighttime is literally a difference between night and day. In the evening, as soon as the sun sets, all lights will go on on the bridges and buildings. Amsterdam will transform into one of the most romantic cities in the world. Maybe even more romantic than Paris??
Open boats from April 1st only till November 1st.
We often have the beautiful setting of sunset and magical golden hour, the best moment for pictures.
In our open boats you will have the best view of the city possible. And with our quiet electric engines, you can indulge in all the sights, sounds, and smells of the city. Add one of our lovely drinks and typical Dutch bites with that. And you have a perfect night on the canals.

we will always try to give the best tour possible (5*). But in rare occasion things don't go as you and me would like. Please let me know asap. Either direct or send me an email of text. I will contact you.
The tour is a historical canal cruise, it is not a booze cruise. So if you are looking for a bachelor party boat or any other booze cruise. Just contact me. And I can arrange that for you on a private boat.
If it rains, it could be possible that we use a covered boat.
In case of bad weather, reschedulling or cancellation is always possible.
The boat is an open boat without a toilet.
Due a lot of traffic at the dock, we can't wait more than 5 minutes. Please make sure you are at the dock 10 minutes before departure.
Be aware, on the water it can be colder than in the street. Make sure you have a coat with you.
A fairly big step needs to be taken to get in the boat. Ofcourse we will assist you.
You'll have to be able to take the steps in to the boat, Of course we will assist.

We dock right in front of the Rijksmuseum. Take a moment to enjoy this amazing museum. Beautiful as a building and amazing expositions. And of course the master piece of the world famous Rembrandt called the Nachtwacht (Night watch).

5.00Our evening sunset cruise with Mar was one of the highlights of our time in Amsterdam. He was an excellent skipper—friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions without ever making the experience feel scripted. The stories and historical context he shared throughout the cruise added so much to what we were seeing. Booking the 9:30 p.m. departure turned out to be the perfect decision during the summer, as we enjoyed the canals in the beautiful late-evening light. There were only three guests on board, which made the whole experience feel relaxed, personal, and unhurried. If you’re visiting in the summer, I highly recommend the later time slot. Thank you, Mar, for a fantastic evening.

5.00We had a great time on the canal tour. Arnold was a great guide and we had a lot of fun with him. I thought the price was very fair for the experience and that the length of the ride was great. It was very nice being out on the water as it got dark and the lights came on throughout the city.

5.00Captain Arnold was the perfect skipper, guide and host aboard the Papi, a whisper-quiet, open-top eletric small vessel. We boarded a stone’s throw from the Rijksmuseum, on a sunset cruise timed to catch golden hour an Amsterdam’s beautiful canals. It’s s small group, personalised experience, with cosy blankets, cold beers and other drinks plus Dutch cheeses, stoop waffels, licorice and other treats. It was a marvellous, fun and informative evening. Highly recommended.
