5.00If you’re deciding whether to book this Ubud tour, stop deciding and book it. From start to finish it was beautifully organised — easy to arrange, well-planned, and completely stress-free. Every site we visited (Monkey Forest, Tegalalang, and the waterfalls) was a highlight, and we were looked after like royalty the whole day. But the person who truly made the experience was our driver, Mangkok. The car was spotless and the air-conditioning was a blessing. Beyond that, Mangkok was respectful, genuinely funny, and made sure we were happy at every turn. He went out of his way for our requests — even ones outside his actual job — without ever making it feel like a bother. He shared fascinating facts about Bali, was curious about our own cultures, and even listened to (and enjoyed) our music. That kind of warmth can’t be trained; it’s just who he is. If you can request Mangkok, do it. Above and beyond doesn’t quite cover it. Thank you for an unforgettable day.
