All of our guides complete an extensive training program that includes certification in First Aid and CPR. Also, many guides and all Trip Leaders have advanced accreditations such as a Wilderness First Responder Certification.
At Adventures Unlimited, the goal is to offer an array of adventures that will please the first-timer, adrenaline junkie, or a mix between the two. We place emphasis on facilitating fun and safe outdoor activities and unlimited adventures!

Once you arrive at our adventure resort in Ocoee, TN you will be greeted by our friendly staff and introduced to your whitewater guide and then the fun begins! Your guide will help you get geared up with PFD, helmet and paddle. Then we will load up for the short bus ride to the put-in of the Middle Section of the Ocoee River, the Nation’s most popular whitewater river. After a complete safety briefing and orientation, it’s time to hit the water. Your adventure will take us 5.5 miles down the mighty Ocoee River inside the beautiful Cherokee National Forest. Dropping over 270 feet during our trek we will challenge HUGE waves and tight turns which are typically met with monstrous smiles and roaring laughter all while taming Class III and IV rapids. After almost two hours of a soaked adrenaline experience, we will float into the take-out for our ride back to Adventures Unlimited. Your dry clothes await you as well as the photos from your Ocoee whitewater adventure. No experience is necessary for whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River and its perfect for groups of all sizes, but the minimum age is 12 years old.

5.00We came all the way from Florida (386!) and this was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had. My husband and I absolutely loved our white water rafting trip! Joe was insightful, informative, kind, and made the entire adventure so much fun. We got completely soaked and loved every second of it! He made us feel safe while still keeping the experience exciting. We would do it again 1,000 times over and will definitely be back. Thank you for helping make our Tennessee trip unforgettable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00It took me way too long to finally do this trip and it still exceeded my expectations. We lucked out with perfect weather....but I'd go at any time! We had a party of 3 and two others joined our trip. We became fast friends. Our guide, Aaron McClain, was top notch. General safety rules were reviewed overall and then our guide went into more detail, checked our gear to make sure everything was on correctly, and gauged us on the intensity desired for our trip. Some wanted to do it all except for getting tossed out of raft, so we went with that. Aaron was very informative, telling us names of the rapids, giving a heads up for what to expect next, along with some general facts. No one feel out during the trip but some of us choose to jump out at the spot that we were able to do so. WE HAD A BLAST! LOTS of smiles, laughs, happy shrieks, and AW YEAHS. Even the ones who had rafted the Ocoee before said it was the best trip they'd ever had. None of us wanted it to end, but alas, all good things must come to an end. I can't wait to do it again, hopefully very soon!
Aiden, was our tour guide. He kept it exciting all the way to the end.

5.00We had a great time and me and the kids are ready to go back. They were ready to do it again as soon as we returned to the starting point. My son kept telling me thank you all day and night. It was great!!!

5.00We had the best white water rafting trip we’ve ever experienced! The entire adventure was exciting and well-organized. The water was the perfect temp and you couldn’t ask for a better day! Our guide, Ash, was absolutely spectacular! He was knowledgeable, professional, and a lot of fun to be around. He made everyone feel safe and confident and always made sure we were comfortable! His experience, communication, and enthusiasm made the trip even more memorable. If you’re booking a rafting trip, definitely ask for Ash - you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend! 🌊🚣♂️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An Unforgettable Ocoee River Adventure!

5.00Our trip with Adventures Unlimited was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We booked the rafting package with an overnight stay in one of their cabins, and it exceeded all expectations. The experience started with a beautiful hike with friends, followed by delicious food and an evening at the Bus Bar. There was fantastic live music, great local beer, and plenty of fun playing Jenga while enjoying the incredibly friendly atmosphere. One of the highlights was meeting the owners, who took the time to sit with us, share their stories, and make us feel genuinely welcome. The next morning, we enjoyed a great breakfast before meeting our rafting guides, an amazing team of female superstars! They delivered a fun, engaging, and very clear safety briefing that made everyone feel comfortable and prepared for the adventure ahead. Once on the river, the fun really began. We rafted the Middle Ocoee, and it was an absolute blast. Our guide was exceptional: skilled, professional, and incredibly attentive. One woman in our raft had never been rafting before, and our guide took such great care of her while expertly navigating the rapids. She made sure everyone felt safe, confident, and included throughout the trip. The combination of outstanding guides, beautiful scenery, comfortable accommodations, great food, live music, and warm hospitality made this one of the best outdoor adventures I've had in a long time. We felt completely taken care of every step of the way and had an amazing time on and off the river. I highly recommend Adventures Unlimited to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and memorable rafting experience on the Ocoee River. I can't wait to come back!

5.00From the time we arrived, the staff at AU were very welcoming and helpful. It is clearly a professionally run organization. Everything thing went smoothly. The river was wonderful. It made me feel young again. Moments on the water were peaceful. At the same time the river keeps the fun moving. I truly valued having a restaurant on site after we finished rafting. While some in our group needed more time to enjoy a hot shower and freshen up after the river, others were able to order food and relax during the transition time. I am already looking for another time on my calendar to get back on the Ocoee with AU!!!

5.00Had a great time on the full Ocoee rafting trip with Alycia! If you’re planning the full trip, check the schedule ahead since it’s only available on weekends and has a shorter season. We expected rain, but it turned out to be a beautiful day, and even if it rains, you’re getting wet anyway. Bring water shoes since you tuck one feet in the raft. Bring a change of clothes and towel to take a quick shower to rinse off at the end. You lock everything in your car and they can safely hold your keys for you until you return. There is a place to eat on site. Definitely go with Adventure Unlimited and ask for Alycia. She’s knowledgeable, knows the river well, and made us feel comfortable while maximizing the fun. We use them every time we raft the Ocoee and will definitely be back!

5.00I had such a great time!! Our guide was Josh Lemon, and he was super experienced and knowledgeable. I’ve been rafting twice before (other companies), and he’s the first guide I’ve had who taught us about the history of the Ocoee and how to “read the water.” I trusted him a lot to keep us safe. Our group really wanted to do some daring and fun things, and he was all on board for it. I’m definitely requesting him again next time, and I’d trust him to get us through the upper Ocoee!
