Our Original Ghost Walk takes travelers through the historic downtown Mystic landscape, guests will become immersed in the dark, sordid and supernatural history of New England’s famous seafaring village. From 17th century strife of colonial life amidst the Pequot Wars and the King Phillip’s war to mysterious turn of the century murders, Mystic’s history was founded in darkness. As the centuries grew, lost seafarers, creepy cryptids, and scandalous happenings took place in our quaint seaside community.
Hear tales of Revolutionary heroes, industrial revolution hot spots, and Union soldiers of the Civil War still seen in their spectral form all on our Downtown Mystic tour. Our Downtown Mystic tour takes guests from the 17th through 20th centuries in old Mystic with true terrifying tales from our hidden archives and remarkable history amid legends and lore. From curses to paranormal activity, there’s no shortage of the supernatural in downtown Mystic.

5.00This tour was the perfect mix of Mystic history and ghostly storytelling. Jason, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and fantastic from start to finish. He added just the right amount of humor, which made the experience even better. Craig and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mystic. You will not be disappointed!

5.00If Mystic has spirits wandering around, I’m convinced they personally approved A.J. as their official spokesperson. Our tour with Seaside Shadows Haunted History Tours LLC was the perfect blend of eerie atmosphere, sharp humor, and legit American History. A.J. tells stories like he’s lived them — vivid, engaging, and sprinkled with just the right amount of comedic sparkle. My friend and I were obsessed. We laughed, we gasped, we whispered “no way” at least ten times. We’re already counting down to our next tour. Five stars, forever and always.

5.00The trip was quite fun and entertaining the whole way through. Kim was both fun and knowledgeable. By the end of it, I was surprised so much time had passed due to how drawn in I was. I hope I get to come back to experience one of the other tours in the future!

5.00Sunshine was a wonderful guide, you can tell she enjoys what she does and that makes the tour all the better. The history and stories of Mystic were great to hear as I knew very little before coming here. I would be very happy to do the tour again or any other tour, but I would like to request Sunshine as the guide :)

5.00Kim, our tour guide was not only knowledgeable, she was very entertaining and charismatic. The tour was chock full of history, creepiness an interesting facts. Kim kept the tour going at a pleasant pace. It was so interesting. We forgot that it was cold and rainy during the tour.
