Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum
This half-day tour will collect you from your accommodation and proceed to Toul Sleng, the former high school that became known as Security Prison 21 under the Khmer Rouge regime, to discover more about this period of Cambodian history.
Choeung Ek Genocidal Center
Later, you will travel a little out of the city to Choeung Ek, commonly referred to as the killing fields. This memorial marks the site of many mass executions by the Khmer Rouge and provides further insight into the country’s recent history. This tour is also available in the afternoon upon request.

5.00The tour guide “ran” was a very good tour guide and very well educated it helped us understand the story beacuse he experienced these times himself. He was able to answer all questions and his English was very good. It isn’t easy to understand every country’s different version of English. He is also very funny which helps the group be more open with him.

5.00This was a highly emotional and moving experience. Ran was a fantastic tour guide who himself lived through the regime and worked in a labour camp. His ability to engage us and educate us was deeply moving and admirable. I would highly recommend this for anyone willing to learn more about this horrific part of a very recent history, that tends not to be spoken of as much as other events.
