5.00An amazing experience, family so welcoming, friendly and thoughtful. Very mindful of food allergy’s and preferences, going above and beyond to ensure everyone enjoyed themselves. The food itself was delicious, and not overly complex so all levels of cooks can enjoy. When I asked for recipes after the class, they typed and emailed them over the next day which was very kind. Cannot recommend this class enough!

5.00As a long-time fan of Vietnamese cuisine, taking a cooking class was at the top of my list when I visited Hoi An — and this experience completely delivered. The organic, farm-to-table focus felt really different and unique compared to other cooking classes offered in the area. Visiting the farm was such a special touch and an important reminder of where your food actually comes from. I learned so much about the local herbs and vegetables used in Vietnamese cooking, and it gave me a whole new appreciation for the cuisine. Vy and her family created such a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere from the moment I arrived, especially as a solo traveler. I felt genuinely welcomed the entire time, and you can tell hosting comes naturally to them. That connection to a local family added so much authenticity and culture to the experience, and made it feel far more meaningful than just a standard cooking class. With their knowledge and help, I made a variety of dishes with a Central Vietnamese focus. After travelling through Northern and Southern Vietnam earlier in my trip, it was really interesting to see the regional differences in flavours and ingredients. Everything I made was incredibly fresh, colourful, full of flavour, and honestly just delightful to eat. What more could you want?! I can’t wait to bring back some of what I learned into my own kitchen at home and hopefully impress some friends and family. In a city as charming as Hoi An, this ended up being one of my favourite experiences, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a more authentic and memorable cooking class experience.

5.00Kathy and Nguyen are simply the best! They and their whole family are incredibly warm and welcoming people and you immediately feel comfortable with them. When they found out that I don’t eat pork, they immediately went out of their way to get alternative ingredients for me, which was incredibly thoughtful. The cooking class was so much fun and truly one of the highlights of my trip. If you are looking for an authentic and memorable experience, you should definitely book this class.

5.00We really enjoyed this organic cooking class. The course leaders were super nice and friendly. Because it was only our group of three people, there was enough time to ask questions and learn about the history of the food. It was no problem to cook vegetarian, which was perfect for us. Especially learning about the different herbs was very interesting. The leaders took photos of us, so we didn't need to worry about that. Would totally recommend! 🌱
