  Truly one of the more magical and remarkable experiences in my life. Lena was a fantastic Captain and got us to the spot effectively and gave us just the right amount of warning to make it not too terrifying when these majestic 25 foot+ wide creatures looped around right below us. Diego was incredibly knowledgeable and offered tons of information about Manta Rays (earning them a spot among my favorite animals) and also great recordings of the entire process. Nick also held it down and kept the whole experience flawless. 10/10 would 100% recommend.

  Trevor, Maddy, and the two other crew members were all very polite on this trip. Honestly, I believe this experience was worth way more than what we paid. We managed to see 3 manta rays in total, and they were absolutely amazing. We had a giant family of about 8 people, including 6 kids ranging from ages 10 to 19 (2 boys and 4 girls). Everyone on the crew was so friendly from the moment we got there and made the whole process easy, especially with the kids. They also informed us of everything really well through the email we received after booking. It explained what to bring and what to expect, which was very helpful. Once we got into the water, we almost immediately saw one manta ray, then another. They swam so close to us that I was actually worried about accidentally making contact because I know you're supposed to protect the manta's coating. Watching them glide through the water was honestly hypnotizing. We also saw so many little fish of all different kinds, which made the experience even better. The manta rays really made this vacation special, and I felt like I owed the crew this review because the entire family enjoyed it. Taking care of 6 kids can definitely be a hassle, especially since they're usually the biggest critics when it comes to complaining, but every single one of them loved it. They all said they've probably never been that close to such beautiful animals before. The whole experience was amazing. I honestly don't see how anyone couldn't enjoy this unless they have a severe fear of sea animals. Otherwise, this is something I'll never forget. Thank you to Trevor, Maddy, the rest of the crew, and of course the manta rays (I forgot the names you gave them 😅) for such an unforgettable experience! :)

  We had a wonderful experience with this crew - they operated like a perfect team. Tamae took incredible pics and videos and shared them with us all, so we could focus on just enjoying it. She kept check in organized and efficient. Diego was not only the joking entertainer but also shared great facts about wildlife and the area, and was incredibly attentive to and helpful with my anxious young daughter in the water and me when I got seasick. Nick was the quieter workhorse, managing all the equipment and helping with anything & everything that needed to be done. Captain Trevor drove safely and efficiently, and also stopped and drove us to see a dolphin pod. And, the mantas showed up and shined for us! It was just an overall fantastic adventure - highly recommend!!

  This is a must do on Kona - Night Snorkel with Manta Rays! We saw Manta Rays for over an hour. One did 5 flips right below me coming within a foot of my face mask! It was a magical time!

  crew was great, experience was amazing! crew went above and beyond to help my girlfriend when she was having issues with her mask. it got tangled in her hair while in the water and Madi somehow untangled while we were all in the water and got her defogged and good to go!!! the rest of the crew Trev, Nick, and Diego all played their roles to an amazingly successful evening!!! they are the best and got us right where the mantas were!!!!

  Wonderful experience! I was scared at first (night snorkeling in the ocean) but the team and captain were extremely supportive and knowledgeable about every detail. I would highly recommend this excursion, plus they took awesome videos of the mantas! We immediately saw 1-2 mantas and a total of 4 by the end. It was as beautiful! After mantas, the captain shut off all lights on boat and let us see and admire the beautiful night sky! Highly recommend!

  This was our second manta ray night snorkeling trip. The first trip was July 2025 with our daughter (and a different charter company). We were excited to share the experience with our 18 year old son because the first go around was SO good. What a disappointment. First off this company charges you for wet suits and life jackets on top of what was already paid. We opted to go without since we are decent swimmers and knew what to expect. Then they have you board a small boat stuffed with people and a very disorganized crew. The one female crew member kept walking over us (more like on us) literally. 2 or 3 mantas came near us, I’d say about 15-20 feet within the first 10min. All the mantas were hanging out around the other charters because they had much better lights w/float boards. We were literally hanging onto pvc that was zip tied to a surfboard that had holes drilled through it for the lights to sit in. We could hear all the other charters screaming and having a good time their crew was telling them facts about mantas, mean while we had one adolescent boy holding the line so we wouldn’t all end up bunched up against to boat. It was almost humorous how bad it was. I assume we were not the only people disappointed. We were one of the last groups to disembark the vessel and the tip jar was empty. We left a tip regardless, because the young boy Jack was working hard. Will never book with them again.
