There’s nothing more intimately haunting than a colonial burial ground and Mystic boasts some of the most fascinating and haunted burial grounds around. Whitehall Burial Ground established in the 1660’s was one of the common burial places of Mystic until the rural landscape movement arrived to Mystic in 1854. Our Graveyard Ghost Tour tells tales of some of Mystic’s most famous residents.
The graveyard tour walks visitors through early American history in New England through times of fear, sickness and war. The trials and tribulations left behind several hauntings and the graveyard has had activity of footsteps, voices and full-bodied apparitions for years – many of which guests experience on our tour. The Graveyard tour ends with a special spooky surprise – perfect for history and ghost lovers alike. The graveyard tour walks guests through time amid the graves of the people who made Mystic, Mystic.

5.00My husband and I spent the week in Mystic for our anniversary, and the tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. Being lovers of both history and anything spooky, this was right up our alley. Jason was knowledgeable, personable, and a great storyteller! I would recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn about some of Mystic’s most interesting past residents!

5.00We had a fantastic time. Sunshine was a fabulous guide, she really brought a lot of great information and kept the tour interesting and focused. The history of the area is fascinating, and the ghost stories were fascinating. The most incredible thing to happen was something pulled the hair tie from my hair - yanked it right out! Multiple people saw it. It was a great experience.

5.00Jason was the tour guide, and he was fantastic… a great sense of humor, and a detailed knowledge and understanding of the local history and the very diverse populations that form Mystic’s early roots. Especially loved hearing about Quash.

5.00It was a beautiful night for a ghost tour!! It is very dark, with lots of roots and uneven ground. If you’re worried about having enough power on your phone, bring a flashlight. Sierra was a really good story teller! Probably the best I’ve ever been on! Highly recommend! I have a picture that I took with a lot of orbs one second, then nothing literally one second later that I’d like to get to her but can’t find an email. Please send it to me and I’ll send the pictures to her. Thank you!!

4.00I didn't know exactly what this tour was..some one else decided on it..it was pretty spooky to me walking in a graveyard at night.the only suggestion is providing the guests with lanterns or flashlights..it was so dark you could easily trip over roots or small broken headstones..but..it was a good haunt..

5.00Our guide AJ told us alot of historical and tragic tales about this graveyard. He gave us some EMF readers and a pair of diving rods to test for ghosts. This tour was well done! We started out with 10 people and a couple of people from the cemetery joined us. They told us how life was underground!

5.00The cemetery was easy to find and there was ample free parking. It was a very fun experience and the guide was knowledgeable and personable. We will be looking into other tours in this area. Great experience!
