  We had an amazing experience with Blue Ridge Wine Excursions. We booked two days of wine tours, and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful about choosing which wineries and cideries to visit in what order each day. Their suggestions were spot on. Our driver Donnie was wonderful as well, and knew how to handle traffic trouble and made sure we knew where and when to meet him for each leg of the tour. We look forward to booking again next year!

  We cannot recommend Albemarle Limousine Service highly enough. If you are planning a winery tour or exploring the Charlottesville and Albemarle County area, be sure to request Roger as your driver. It will be one of the most memorable experiences of your trip. Roger guided us throughout Albemarle County and Charlottesville with a depth of knowledge that only a true local could provide. Having spent a lifetime in the area, he seemed to know every road, every landmark, and every story behind them. One of the highlights of our day was seeing the neighborhood where he grew up and hearing firsthand about the community he loves so deeply. What began as a transportation service quickly became something much more meaningful. Along the way, we shared stories about our families, reflected on how precious life is, and learned about Roger’s remarkable life and values. He spoke with great pride and admiration about his wife and her selfless work with a nonprofit organization serving children with disabilities. The more we learned about them, the more inspired and grateful we felt. Roger represents the very best qualities of his generation—humility, kindness, service, wisdom, and genuine care for others. By the end of the day, we felt as though we had made a new friend rather than simply hired a driver. Our time with Roger enriched our appreciation not only for the beautiful Charlottesville and Albemarle County region, but also for the people who make it such a special place.   When we made our reservations I playfully asked if I could get the “Nice Guy” discount. After a chuckle the lady told me “While there’s no discount, I’ll give you our best driver”. She kept her promise! Gillie Jenkins was the best chauffeur I’ve ever seen. Not only was he punctual, polite and professional, he had insightful observations about each of the wineries we visited and had an outstanding audible (a beautiful other winery) when a major traffic accident occurred on I-64 that cut us off from our originally scheduled final stop. We even ended up getting an extra stop in during our time allotted. AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE

  I am writing to share what a wonderful experience our group of six had during our recent wine tasting adventure. Our chauffeur, Gillie Jenkins, was absolutely outstanding. Throughout the day, Gillie was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. He escorted us into every winery and ensured we were perfectly settled for each tasting. Any wine purchased, he took them to the vehicle for us. We were so impressed with his service that we will definitely request Gillie for any future trips. Thank you, Debbie Rivera

  My girlfriend group, the Adorable Squirrels, booked a three stop tour of Virginia vineyards. We requested Gille as our driver as one member of our group had participated in one of his tours previously and she told us how knowledgeable he was of local sites and how safe she felt during the trip, he was great, so friendly and interesting. I recommend Abelmarle Limousine service for an enjoyable wine experience!!

  First class experience! Having a professional driver allowed us to enjoy all wineries without any worries. Debbie was amazing. She engaged us and provided us with all the information needed to have a perfect day. We definitely recommend her and this company to anyone.

  Gillie was 11/10 stars! Professional yet friendly and on time (early!). Make sure you request him! Oddly enough when I saw him drive up I realized he was my driver for my bachelorette party 7 years prior. What a wonderful opportunity to have him again (this time celebrating motherhood)! So knowledgeable and helpful. Always dropped us off right at the entrance and walked us to check in, offered to take photos and helped keep us on time. So enjoyable to ride in the car with (an immaculately clean Tesla) and a safe driver! Always down for a fun conversation between vineyards and came to check on us during the experience to see if he could do anything. Also always made sure we had water! Can’t wait to use him again whenever we come back. Thanks for making our day exceptional! Gillie was a total delight.
