Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! This in an intermediate trip but also not too scary for first-timers. The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip.

Arkansas River
Browns Canyon National Monument on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

5.00Definitely scenic and fun! Our guide Brody was excellent! His experience showed as he tailored the trip down the water to our group. Really appreciated the extra things this company had such as: wetsuits, rain jackets, water shoes, and helmets in addition to a life jacket—all free with the coat of the trip (no additional charges.) We had a hot lunch at fajitas at a perfect spot to watch others go down one of the rapids. Brown’s Canyon is beautiful.

5.00We had a great time with Jake as our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The entire staff were great to work with. We did the full day float in August and there was plenty of water, rapids, and fun. The lunch fajitas were great and we would definitely raft with them again.

5.00Had a great day with our group on the Arkansas River with The Adventure Company and our guide Kara. Kara made sure we had safe and fun day on the river. Kara was very personal and it was a pleasure to be in her raft. There were a lot of companies on the river, but I would definitely go back to The Adventure Company and ask for Kara.
Best white water rafting experience for our family of 4!

5.00Jake and Simon helped us with our first white water rafting adventure and it did not disappoint! They were so helpful with great instructions and then cooked us a great fajita lunch! The rapids were just enough adventure for our first time and we will definitely be back!

5.00Our guides were very experienced, professional, and friendly. They did an excellent job. Lunch was better than expected. The scenery was exceptional!!! I would definitely recommend this white water tour!

5.00Fantastic trip - all day is the way to go! Our guide Cartland was so knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend. Lunch was amazing it was so nice having a hot meal instead of a cold cut sandwich.

5.00We had an entire family on our Colorado trip and rafting was the highlight! All the guides were wonderful to work with and especially ours, Brody. He gave us an adventure to remember but was always safe and considerate of our group. He also provided many stories and humor along the way. He even sang us a song! Thank you Brody for showing us a great time!!

5.00This past weekend, my husband and I rafted through Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River with The Adventure Company and had an AMAZING time. If you’re in the Buena Vista area or are planning a trip to CO, I highly recommend checking them out! Their guides were knowledgeable, we had an awesome lunch on the river, and they had all the equipment we needed for a great day. Thanks, Kotty, Brodie, and Shayna!
