Come and join us for a 2-Hour Guided Segway Tour at one of the Grand Strand’s most beautiful wetland and wildlife preserves, Huntington Beach State Park in Myrtle Beach. Nature lovers will enjoy the park’s Environmental Education Center for the chance to see Loggerhead Turtles and other endangered wildlife species up close. The park’s freshwater lake along the causeway is a sure-fire place to see Alligators basking in the sun, a variety of bird species, and maybe even a mink or two.
Known for its natural beauty, Huntington Beach State Park was the former winter home of Anna Hyatt and Archer Huntington, sculptress and philanthropist, who left the park and adjacent Brookgreen Gardens as their legacy. Make sure to leave enough time in your day to also visit Atalaya, the picturesque, Moorish-style castle which was their residence and sculpting studios. This tour is around two hours in length with training. Still plenty of time to enjoy the beach and relax before or after your tour.

We have the ability to transport necessary items i.e. cameras, phones, drinks, etc. These can be carried in the Segway bag on each unit.
Please note there is an entry fee to the State Park and is payable at the main gate. This fee goes to the park authority and is not part of our fee.
Patrons need to arrive 30 minutes before tour time. Give an extra 15-20 minutes from what GPS says.
Patrons arriving after tour start time will miss out and will not be refunded. We can't keep other patrons waiting.

5.00We love Segway tours. Great way to see a little part of where ever u r. This tour was very informative of the eco system. The tour was just the right amount of time. Got to see nature up close. Our guide was wonderful

5.00We did this last year for the first time and my husband was a bit nervous during training and was self conscious the rest of the time, and i didn't feel like he had a great time even though he dd just fine. So, I wanted to go again for two reasons, #1 - I wanted him to have a great time, because they are easy and a lot of fun, #2 - because it was a lot of fun! LOL And it all worked out. It was great. Bob is the guide and gives a running commentary about the park, the animals, and the Huntingtons, who built the castle and did a lot of interesting things. The other tour I saw cost more for a shorter time. I would do it again for sure. I wish we coud have had the opportunity to go faster! but I know he wants everyone to be safe.

5.00Awesome experience. All but one of us had ever ridden on a Segway. He was an excellent teacher helping each person learn how to use the Segway and made even the most uncomfortable person be at ease about riding a Segway. The tour was fantastic. He had wonderful facts and stories about the areas we saw and kept our interest. We saw alligators and wildlife as well as Antalya and the beach. We had a great time. I highly recommend this tour and would do it again!

5.00Our tour guide, Bob, did a wonderful job in refreshing us on how to ride a Segway and his knowledge of the park was thorough and complete. We had great fun on the tour and highly recommend it. If you haven’t ridden a Segway don’t let that stop you. You will be trained to be up and running in no time.
