We meet at the east entrance of the Stockholm City Museum (Stockholms Stadsmuseum). The @adding:tours team will send you an email message before the tour starts with detailed information on where to go and how to get there. The message will also include the telephone number to our offices should you have any problems finding the meeting point, your guide, or need assistance, we will be happy to help you!
Slussen
We start your tour at Slussen (literally: the lock). Slussen is an important part of the early and current development of Stockholm. We feel its importance has been underestimated. Your guide will give you a historical overview and significant developments of the area, point out notable structures and inform about the current state of play with project Slussen (2016-2025). All while you are making your way at a leisurely pace towards the Stockholm Old Town.

5.00Ian gave us a tour around Stockholm and it was incredibly impressive. The reviews for this tour were good but his knowledge was well beyond expectations. I asked a million questions and he didn’t miss a beat. Not only did we get to gain deep historical and architectural knowledge but we learned about politics and culture. It was honestly one of my favorite parts of our trip and set us up for the next 5 days here to really take in the city. Thanks Ian!

5.00You can’t get a better experience of exploring a lovely city like Stockholm than see it through the eyes of a knowledgeable proud local. Kenny was amazing plus I got him one on one. He listened and answered my questions. Considering it was such a busy Saturday (the Kings Golden wedding) I’m definitely coming back to this place asap. 5.00We had tour guide. Kenneth, who was so informative. Very engaged with the group. Seem to have endless energy and took us on a very personalized, extensive tour. I felt like I had a very good impression of the city. The next day I was able to point out a number of the sites we saw to fellow travelers.
