Our sanctuary is the local sanctuary in Samui and everyone is welcome to visit us to observe elephants roaming free by themselves in the jungle. Learn the history about the story of the elephants and the important part how to take care elephants with us together. This program was run by the experience instructor guide who have the impression and passionate to take care Asian elephants. We invite to be a part for take care elephants with us together.

Begin with pick up from the hotel and drive to our sanctuary home. We also provide for everyone to observe elephants in the natural surroundings in the jungle which roam free to have food for eating, learn about the history of elephants from the local guide, and observe elephants play in the mud to cool down by themselves. Moreover, we provide visitors with the opportunity to observe elephants enjoy taking bath in the pool and our mahouts carefully clean them by splashing water by using hose, ensuing their comfort and well-being. Finally, have some the vegetarian set of food after the program and watch surprise video together.

5.00An all-around fantastic trip! All staff members were very friendly, helpful, and took a lot of time with us. The elephants were explained excellently, allowing us to learn a lot of interesting facts about these impressive animals. The catering was also excellent – nothing was lacking. The entire trip was well organized and even exceeded our expectations. It was a beautiful experience that will remain positively in our memories for a long time. Thank you for this unforgettable day – we wholeheartedly recommend this trip!

Humbling Elephant Experience

5.00One of the best and humbling experiences we’ve ever experienced. We were a family with 4 adults and 2 kids. There was also another family of 5. It was nice only having a small group , it made the experience personal. Everyone was so accommodating especially to my children. We learned a lot about the elephants and they seem very well taken care of. I liked that the whole tour was very interactive while being ethical that included getting to make food for the elephants, watching them bathe, and just observing them in the jungle. The lunch was also delicious and thoughtful. Overall, this was a 100/10 experience and was well worth it.

5.00We had a wonderful time at the Samui Elephant Home! The staff were knowledgable, fun and passionate and made our experience very special. We had lots of time with the elephants and also learned a lot about ethical tourism and the importance of supporting this initiative. Couldn't recommend more highly!
Highlight of our Thailand holiday

5.00We visited here on Saturday morning for the half day tour, and it was hands down our highlight of our full trip to Thailand! We spent hours searching different locations across our trip to Thailand for an ethical Elephant sanctuary. Once we made it to Koh Samui we finally decided on trying this one, and I can honestly say it’s the best decision we made. The staff are incredible, we’re Scottish and didn’t have a problem once communicating with staff or asking all our questions. They’re more than happy to explain how the sanctuary works, a bit about their jobs and of course, everything you want to know about the elephants. There was never a moment where we felt the elephants were anything less than loved here. We’re massive animal lovers, and this is always key for us. We left feeling so blessed to have been able to experience a day with elephants, and felt comfort In knowing that nothing was forced for tourism. The elephants can do whatever they want, we’re in their environment and are made to respect that. This is the most value for money day out that I’ve ever booked, so much so that I had left a donation in their box at the end, because I felt like I’d massively underpaid for our experience. I’d happily have paid 4 or 5x’s more, and not had an issue with it. Absolutely everything was provided for us, and there was no hidden fees involved either - which is rare. From lunch, to mosquito sprays, handheld fans, hats for sun protection and even a free video to keep as memories of your day. Thanks to all the staff for an amazing experience, and a lifelong memory
