Taman Ayun Temple
The Taman Ayun Temple of Mengwi Taman Ayun literally translates as ‘beautiful garden’ and is generally regarded as one of the most attractive temples of Bali. The Taman Ayun temple is situated in a beautiful park with trees and ponds, near the village of Mengwi in the south of Bali at about 8 km southwest of Ubud and 18 km northwest of Denpasar. Pura Taman Ayun was built in 1634 by the Raja of Mengwi, I Gusti Agung Putu. It is a socalled Pura Kawiten or family temple, a special temple where the deified ancestors of the Raja Dynasty of Mengwi and important gods of other temples are honored. The Taman Ayun temple is boardered by broad canals and it can only be entered via a bridge leading to a richly ornamented candid bentar, the gate which gives access to the outer courtyard (jaba) of the temple. From this candi bentar a straight, paved footpath leads through the well maintained park past a square pond with a fountain exactly in its center. This fountain has nine water jets, four of which are positioned according the cardinal points, another four according the sub-cardinal points and the ninth in the center, symbolizing the Dewa Nawa Sanga, the nine main gods of Balinese Hinduism. The footpath leads on to a second candi bentar which gives access to the jaba tengah, the more elevated, second courtyard of the temple. Inside the jaba tengah one finds the walled jaba jero, the third and most holy courtyard of the temple in which the most important shrines are located, among others a number of five, seven, nine and eleven tierd meru’s. The jaba jero is only accessible during important religious ceremonies, such as the odalan – the day on which the inauguration of the temple is commemorated. The odalan of the Taman Ayun temple takes place every 210 days on a day called Anggara Kasih, the Tuesday of the week Medangsia of the Balinese Pawukon calendar. The ceremonies of this odalan cover a period of several days
Tanah Lot
Tanah Lot Temple is one of Bali’s most important landmarks, famed for its unique offshore setting and sunset backdrops. An ancient Hindu shrine perched on top of an outcrop amidst constantly crashing waves; Tanah Lot Temple is simply among Bali’s not-to-be-missed icons. The onshore site of the Tanah Lot temple complex is dotted with smaller shrines together with visitors’ leisure facilities that comprise restaurants, shops and a cultural park where regular dance performances are shown regularly. The temple is located in the Beraban village of the Tabanan regency, an approximate 20km northwest of Kuta. It is often included on sightseeing and cultural tours to Bali’s western and central regions

Visiting Bali must be to Tanah Lot, very scenic. Entrance ticket for local tourists is IDR 20.000/person and foreign IDR 60.000/person. In addition to Tanah Lot Temple there is also the sacred Snake Cave. It is recommended to come before sunset. Also Batu Ngaus Temple and Taman Ayun Temple are very beautiful places. You will regret if you don't visit this temple

I visited Nusa Penida more than twice, the first time I visited in the west, last year was my second visit in the east, and the third time I returned to visit the western part of the island of Nusa Penida and found that Nusa Penida was more popular than before, so it was rather crowded, especially in several places. The streets are very crowded because many visitors, if you want to visit here, it's better to avoid the peak season. and I suggest you better visit Nusa Penida not only once or twice, at least more than twice, because there are still many good places to visit in Nusa Penida. Nusa Penida is very nice, many interesting places to visit. highly recommended to visit

A pleasant little water temple and really a bit touristy. Not far from Tanah Lot and vice versa. If Tanah Lot is too touristy, you should stop here. Pura Batu Ngaus is located on the beach, fresh air, beautiful scenery, suitable for taking pictures. Then we continued to the Taman Ayun temple and Tanah Lot temple. At Tanah Lot temple we watched the sunset with a very beautiful temple beach. We are really very happy and satisfied. Also our driver service Nyoman is very patient and friendly
