4.00KJ was a fabulous tour guide. She had great stories of the town of Skagway and surrounding area. We enjoyed the scenery. Hanging out with the puppies was fun. They were awake and playful.
Not the best not the worst

3.00Not the best but not the worst. Dog camp was very disappointing. No guides or info just go into the mud hole to pet puppies. Bathroom is an outhouse. Snacks were $10 muffins. Tour guide was nice. Gave some general info but not a lot. Several quick stops for photos.
The best way to feel like you’re traveling with a local.

5.00Trey paid me with the gold he found in Skagway to say his tour is the best and that he’s also smart and handsome. We learned so much you’d think he was a local! You can tell her loves his job and is very personable! The tour was great as well. We saw and learned so much about the area and topped it off with puppy snuggles!

5.00This tour was fantastic and quite entertaining. Mariah was our tour guide and was so much fun. She took both single and group pictures, shared history of the area, the dogs, the people on the Yukon side and Alaska side. The scenery and various wildlife stops were amazing, and Mariah made this trip extra fun. We hade a great all female tour ride and the mood was light, fun, and infectious! There were many fun stops along the way and the waterfall and wildlife spotting were among my favotrites, and getting to hold and play with the puppies was the most fun stop! The runoff from the mountaintops from the melting ice created beautiful waterfalls and we stopped at some very picturesque sites. It was a relaxing, unique tour and we recommend this one.

4.00Overall was a very nice tour. Our tour guide Pam was absolutely wonderful. She provided a lot of good information, history, stories and sense of humor throughout our scenic drive. Multiple scenic stops along the way which were lovely and lots of photo opportunities. The suspension bridge was fun and facilities were great. Now the most anticipated portion of the tour for our family was the puppies, but it was the biggest letdown. Our tour group was 50+ people and there was a smaller tour group there as well. So over 60 people all vying for the attention of maybe 5-6 active puppies, several were sleepy and stayed in their doghouses which understandable. The tour was listed as having husky puppies (future mushers) but we were told they were not ready for people interaction but they had puppies who were adoptable from the local humane society. So the tour was providing good socialization for those puppies. To get the puppies attention treats were available by way of donation. It was a quick 30 minute stop and my kids liked the puppies but was not the unforgettable experience we were looking forward to. However, every other part of the tour was wonderful.

5.00This was such a fun experience for our family! Our three young children loved getting to hold the sled dog puppies! We all enjoyed walking and exploring the area around the bridge, and the additional stop to take in the breathtaking view of the mountains. Special thanks to Grace for doing such an excellent job to keep our large group informed and on time. She shared interesting facts and stories while driving the bus, and was a joy to get to talk to. Thank you, Grace, for being so welcoming and sharing your love of the land with our family!!
