The Streets and Eats Walking Tour with Dana was exceptional. She was very personalble, organized, extremely knowledgable, and just an all around fun time. We came across hidden historical areas that we never would've found on our own. We ended our tour at Carmella's for some homemade Gelato and Cannolis. If you are even considering doing any one of her tours, I highly recommend you hit the button!

From beginning to end Dana was attentive and knowledgeable. It was just my daughter and I celebrating her college graduation. We learned about the local Charleston architecture, French Huguenot Church, St. Phillip’s Church, Rainbow, Waterfront Park, Pineapple Fountain, enjoyed Callie’s Hot Little Biscuits, Poogan’s Smoke house for BBQ sliders, collard greens and corn bread, and finished off with the most amazing coffee and Gelato at Carmella’s. Dana was fun, accommodating and knowledgeable. If you want a good time and an overview of Charleston, take this tour!

I’ve lived in Charleston for 14 years, and somehow learned more about this city in one afternoon than I had in all that time combined! Daina was an exceptional guide — knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely enthusiastic about Charleston in a way that’s contagious. By the end of the tour, our group felt like we’d known each other for years. The lite bites and drink pairings were a thoughtful touch — not just a snack break, but woven into the experience in a way that made each stop feel intentional. I appreciated that it felt educational without ever feeling like a lecture. Navigating downtown Charleston with a group is no small feat, and Daina handled it gracefully — keeping everyone together, safe, and respectful of the spaces we moved through. If you’re a local who thinks this kind of tour is “for tourists,” think again. My friend and I left genuinely more excited to experience more of the city we already call home. Highly recommend!
