Your starting point is the Lange Wapper Statue at Steenplein. Open the Explorial app, enter your 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, select English or French, and tap Start. The trail moves through the medieval core of Antwerp, between the riverfront and the cathedral quarter. Het Steen — the 13th-century riverside fortress that is Antwerp's oldest building — is an early clue location, with a riddle that asks you to study the stonework rather than the view. Stoelstraat 11 brings a photo challenge that puts the group to work at one of the old town's most characterful addresses. The Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekathedraal, with its 123-metre Gothic spire visible from most of the city centre, features in an observation task that rewards taking time to study the facade details. Antwerp's compact historic centre makes it easy to pause between stops. Live scoring creates a quiet competitive tension throughout the trail, particularly on the clues that look easier than they are. The app reveals final scores and a ranking when the last task is done. Antwerp rewards slowing down, and the trail is designed the same way.
