We toured as a group of ten (6 adults and 4 kids) and covered Pont du Hoc, Omaha, and the American Cemetery. Theo did an amazing job of sharing just the right level of detail and balancing the adults and kids attention spans. Highly recommended!

Lucas was an amazing guide! His knowledge of the area and events were top notch. He was eager to help me learn more about the Battle of the Hedges in St. Lo Normandy where my grandfather died. Outstanding trip!

My other tour operator (Ophorus) cancelled my tour 2 hours before it was to begin, so with the help of my hotel, I was able to call Overlord Tours and the very kind agent was able to book me on the last seat of a tour that was to leave at the same time. Lucas was a wonderful guide. We went first to Pointe du Hoc where the weather matched that of D-Day with wind and rain. Lucas did a great job filling in the details of the story. Next stop, Omaha Beach. Lucas took us to the sand (it was close to low tide, as it was that day) and once again told us the stories to make the 300 yard dash come to life. The final stop was the American Cemetery where Lucas timed it so we arrived at 4:00 PM as they were playing Taps and lowering the flag. All in all , an amazing experience. Highly reccomend!

Our friends and my husband and I were really looking forward to this tour as I had a father that was wounded in the battle of St Lo Our driver/guide was Jack and was amazing. He had so much knowledge of everything it was amazing. He even told me a little of the battle of St Lo when I explained about my dad being wounded there. Jack was courteous and tried to take everyone’s questions and concerns. And he had a great sense of humor. He made the trip a wonderful and enlightening experience.

For a 1/2 day tour, it was full of excellent information, stories, and key sites for Americans visiting the Normandy D-day beaches. Remy was a superb guide and a wonderful story teller who is well-versed in the history of this event. I highly recommend this tour and Remy if you get a chance to take the tour with him.

Friends had recommended this tour and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very passionate. The pacing of the presentations, time to explore on our own, and travel to various sites was well organized. The pick-up and drop-off sites worked nicely and the bus was comfortable. I must give a specific shout-out to our tour guide, Remy. Returning to the train station, we learned that due to a power outage, the return train to Paris was cancelled. No other trains were scheduled and the train station personnel only spoke French. Remy translated for us and also negotiated with an independent driver to get our party of 5 back to our hotel - 3 hours away! Fantastic service!
