The e-bike experience in Civita called "Castello nel Cielo" is unique. Just outside Orvieto you pass through the ancient Badia and then go up the plateau which from the ancient Dimora di Collevento through Canale and then Boccetta leads to Bagnoregio, accompanied only by the rustle of a breeze that keeps the air clear here in all seasons , clean and fresh. The images that can be fixed in these places of great beauty, where the panoramas offer views of vineyards, olive trees, pastures and woods are a joy for the eyes. Farmhouses and cellars meet along the path where you can buy the real typical products of the place. Then the arrival at the Civita belvedere is indescribable, a glance that leaves you breathless. The visit to the village, a set of famous films, is a continuous emotion, with its premises, artisan shops, perfumes, essences ...
We return by stopping at the Belvedere of the Terrazza Farnese, from where the Orvieto cliff can be admired in all its majesty and elegance

Arrival at the lookout point where we park the e-bikes. Breathtaking view from where to take beautiful photos. Cross the pedestrian bridge to enter the ancient Civita, visit the village and snack with tastings of local products and wines.
We stop in this 13th century Castle, on the border of the ancient Papal States, around which many battles were fought to defend the territory of Orvieto

5.00This e- bike ride MORE than met expectations. The guide was FANTASTIC- knowledgeable, kind and well paced excursion. It was smoking hot out - but it didn’t matter - the views were breathtakingly beautiful and the ride was amazing. Excellent excellent tour and guide. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

5.00Tour was with 4 adults and 5 teenagers. Even though it was hot, the bike tour was super fun. Paulo and crew were friendly, knowledgeable, provided water, info on the countryside and set us up with the best lunch in Italy so far. Thank you!

5.00This was a fantastic thing to do whilst visiting the area. The organisers couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. We were a couple who joined a group from the USA. The bikes were well maintained. The guides were knowledgeable. The crumbling city was interesting and the light lunch afterwards exceeded expectations at the foot of the cathedral. The countryside we cycled through was like something from a painting with hay bales and poppers. I am not a confident cyclist but the guides were reassuring and even speeding downhill was fun!

4.00Friendly and helpful guide, beautiful scenery and nice lunch at the end. The only thing was out of the 6 in our tour group, probably 3-4 of the bikes were not ready to ride (flat tires, not full battery, other issues). If the bikes were all in working order from time of pick up, it would be 5 stars.

5.00This was a great experience- a highlight of our trip! Paolo is a fantastic guide and a really caring guy. I wasn’t sure how much climbing and traffic there would be, but it was very manageable for our non -expert riding. We saw beautiful areas we never would have seen and learned about history, geology, and biodynamic farming! Paolo is passionate about nature and the joy of living. Lunch at the Orvieto Duomo afterwards was a delicious end to the trip, and Paolo even took us right to our train. What a fun day!

5.00This was a great tour, going along the smaller roads around the orvieto region. The ride itself was beautiful and the guides were both kind and helpful to us. Civita itself was gorgeous and the views were spectacular.
