Learn the art of creating one of the nation's oldest beer recipes, from, start to finish, while you explore previously unseen areas of the brewery. Finish your visit with a refreshing tasting paddle of four Cascade beers
Please note that due to the nature of brewery operations, it is not guaranteed that the areas visited on the tour will be visibly active at the time of your walkthrough.
To attend the tour you must:
- Be over 18+.
- Have not consumed alcohol prior to your tour (zero alcohol policy)
- Wear enclosed, flat shoes (no sandals, thongs or heels).
- Agree to wear the provided PPE for the duration of the tour.
Accessibility:
- This tour includes several flights of stairs & significant walking at moderate pace.
- Food Preparation Area - Guide Dogs and other registered assistance dogs may not accompany their handlers.
- We welcome all people including those who are blind or have low vision who use a long cane and / or have a support person present on the tour.

5.00A wonderful experience with Page (the Guide). She was very knowledgeable and having done quite a few tours in different countries she was up there with the best. The hour went very fast and a good coverage of the history of the Brewery.

5.00Excellent tour that delves into the history of the comings of the brewery and how it remains a sacred prize of the Tasmanian state - only able to be enjoyed whilst on the Apple Isle. Alice was a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide who taught us all about the beer making process, different areas of the brewery and some of the comical stories of a bygone era. Finishing with a tasting paddle only seems like getting the true experience! Highly recommend doing this tour whilst in Hobart - it's only a short drive outside of the city and makes for a good wet (or dry) weather activity.

5.00Surprisingly good! A great tour, good value for money. Our Guide knew her stuff and was extremely knowledgeable in all questions that were thrown at her. From the history of the business to the buildings, surroundings and intricate processes used in the making of beer plus the beer tasting at the end, this tour is a winner.
