Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater?
If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you.
We will explore the famous Paradise Reef inside the National Park of Cozumel Reefs, known for its beautiful coral formations and multicolored sea fans and abundant fish.
Cruise Ship Passengers:
We cater to cruise ship passengers effectively as we are conveniently located at Marina Fonatur, just a couple of minutes away by TAXI from the International Cruise Terminal and Puerta Maya Terminal and about 15 minutes away from Punta Langosta Pier. Scuba Life Does NOT Pick up at Terminals

1) Upon booking, we will send you a link to a PADI video where you will be introduced to all the concepts and skills that you will be doing during your experience. 2) Once at our shop, one of our PADI Instructors will personally review what you learned in the video and confirm the correct sizes for your scuba rental gear. 3) We will then head out to the beautiful Paradise Reef on our boat and stop at a shallow beach where you will enter the water with your instructor and practice in shallow calm water the skills that you learned in the video. Once the skills are completed, you will explore Paradise Shallows reef on the 1st tank for 30 to 45 minute approx. 4) In between dives, we will spend 30 minutes aboard, and we will offer fresh fruit, cookies, water and Gatorade to prepare for our second dive. 5) Our second dive will be done at Paradise Reef for 45 to 60 minutes approx. What's included? The experience includes an introductory lesson, full gear rental and 2 boat dives at Paradise Reef

5.00This was our second visit to Cozumel and doing Discover Scuba Diving with Scuba Life Cozumel. We are a family of 3 with a teenage son who loves the water. We can't recommend this activity enough for those wanting to dive without a certification! The staff is attentive, walks you through the process before getting in the water and lets you practice before starting your dive - giving you clear, easy-to- follow instructions. They are with you every step of the way, making sure to keep you safe and also enjoying the dives. We did the 2 tank dive and we were able to see sea turtles, a sting ray, lobsters, crabs and so many different kinds of beautiful fish! The reef is spectacular and the water so clear! Can't thank the staff enough for our time with them and taking such good care of us!

5.00EXCELLENT DIVE SHOP! The best shop, New boat, good equipment and AMAZING knowledgeable crew and dive masters. Jaime, Sergio, George and Oscar are wonderful. I struggle with my buoyancy and their whole team helped me especially Sergio. I will definitely dive with them again. They also have a lot of return divers.

5.00Extraordinary!!!!!! Really superb! We ( my daughter and I) finally did our certification course which entails three full days of diving. Our instructor was Carmina and we got to see some familiar faces on the boat from our previous Discover scuba trips, Jorge, Diego, Luis and Captain Cookie! Everything about the experience was perfect! Carmina and the entire Crew were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun, professional, courteous, and helpful! They explained how the dive would go, the location we were going to and what we might see there and showed us pictures of the various marine life in the area. On the dive itself, we were well cared for and shown a Variety of sea life, such as several nurse sharks, a Hawksbills turtle, a greenback turtle, a loggerhead turtle, a splendid toadfish, trunkfish, and a ton of other beautiful fish and amazing coral formations!! I feel like we got the best certification training possible, and we enjoyed every minute of it! I felt very safe and cared for And feel that the training itself was extremely thorough and at the pace that my daughter and I needed. I would highly recommend Scuba Life for anyone diving in Cozumel! I’ve dove with them four years now, going on 14 dives, and have been extremely satisfied with absolutely no complaints. They are the only company I will choose when returning to dive in Cozumel.

5.00The entire experience with Scuba Life was expemplary. The manager, Carly was incredibly accommodating with helping us schedule and had a fantastic brunch suggestion for our wait until the afternoon discover scuba tour. My wife, kids and I returned a little early for the tour and were welcomed with open arms by Carmina, who would end up as my wife's personal instructor for the trip. Carmina went above and beyond to accommodate my wife who has limited experience snorkeling and generally a phobia of water...especially anything over her head. My wife was able to get to a depth of 11 meters and experience the reef like I never imagined she ever would. Carmina is the reason this happened. Unbelievable!! My teenage kids and I ended up with the master diver Luis as our instructor. He was incredible in both roles. For instruction, he thoroughly explained everything. As master diver, he was amply educated at locations and able to find many wonderful species of sea life. My kids and I have snorkeled so many times at various locations in Mexico and other places in Europe and the Americas but never have gone diving. This exceeded all my expectations by far. The remaining crew members were Maria, wonderfully engaging instructor with amazing life story, and Captain Cookie, who was fantastic and obviously a seasoned veteran. My family enjoyed this so much that we are considering a return visit on our only free day here in Riviera Maya. Do not hesitate for a second to book with Scuba Life and tip well. These folks deserve every bit of praise they can get. It was an amazing experience to say the least. Best Fathers Day ever!

5.00Had never been driving before. They made the experience easy to understand and I was hard to teach. Never got frustrated and eventually I got the hang of it. The training is in shallow water about 5-12 feet. After that you go out to the reef where you dive about 30-40 feet. Saw a bunch of cool fish and a lot of the reef. I’m sorry I cannot not remember the divers names but Cookie was our captain. They were all great.
The dive instructors were great Maria and Carmina were so helpful with my 10 year old son and it made everything

5.00Awesome diving! Awesome dive team. Dive master Jorge is an absolute beast. Very informative very hands on, always attentive to divers. Boat captains Jaime and Sergio super alert and ready to get us to and from the dive spots. Felt super safe with this team and will be back again to do more dives with Scuba Life. Cheers.
