A short but fascinating hike overlooking the sea to discover Vernazza and the terraced landscape of the Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, we'll visit a beautiful lemon grove belonging to the Azienda Agricola La Bottega, where we'll enjoy a tasting of limoncino (made from the lemons surrounding us) and other typical Cinque Terre products, such as Cinque Terre DOC wine, accompanied by traditional Ligurian focaccia.

Very suggestive short trek in the typical terraced landscape of the Cinque Terre. The trek has short steep stretches and therefore very recommended to wear suitable shoes (no open)
It is not required to have a particular fitness, although it is not recommended for those with mobility problems

Dogs are absolutely allowed even if being in a National Park they must be kept on a leash

5.00Our Guide Alessandro was so kind, knowledgable and informative. This is a short hike to some shaded tables in the small lemon grove. We tasted local wine and Lemoncino. He brought focaccia, home made lemon jam and lemon cookies. The view from here was wonderful. Thank you :)

5.00Allesandro was an incredible guide- very knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is picturesque and the tastings were wonderful. The hike up to the tasting is moderate difficulty- especially in the heat, but it is very worth it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a differnt type of experience in Vernazza

5.00Wonderful tour up the hillside in Vernazza! Alessandro took us on a beautiful hike to a private overlook where we could explore the small lemon grove and sit and relax while he shared their farms wine, lemoncino and a liquor made from bay leaves. He was so knowledgeable and also gave us plenty of time to soak in the experience and views of Vernazza and the Ligurian Sea!

5.00This was a great tour with Alessandro! We walked through the village of Vernazza and went on part of the path to Monterosso. We went to the lemon grove where we had a beautiful view looking down on Vernazza. We tasted the lemon jam with focaccia, cookies, La Bottega wine - and limoncino. It was all delicious! We met back at the store where we made a few purchases!!

5.00What a wonderful way to spend a morning. The meeting point is easy to find. Alessandro was welcoming and friendly. The climb to where we were to stop for the tasting was not too far. Along the way Alessandro was informative about what we could see from various view points. The tasting spot had an amazing vista of Vernazza. Tasting the lemon jam, local wine, and other drinks felt quite a privilege away from all the other tourists. I could have stayed there all day it was quite magical.

4.00Nice experience. Be prepared for uneven terrain. No bathrooms... so if you have kids, be mindful of that. Beautiful view.

5.00We had a beautiful visit with Alessandro in Vernazza! We happened upon his tour via a flier in town and we couldn’t have spent a nicer morning in this city. Alessandro was very personable and communicative, and talked to us about the history of the city, some local farming practices, and regional food/beverages. We had great views of Vernazza, got away from the crowds, tried the wonderful locally made lemon jam and limoncino, and had a fabulous picnic experience for the four of us. The products are available in the fantastic La Bottega store in Vernazza!
