You'll be able to experience the local way of eating and drinking in Bologna thanks to this experience.

We'll take you through a gastronomic journey which will make you discover what are the hidden places that only the locals knows and that you must try!

The goal is to share with you what exactly our typical day would be, the classic outing we do with our friends and family, surprising your appetite and taste buds with + 10 foods and wine tastings!

We'll start with a proper typical savoury and delicious tigella!

Then we will move on directly purchasing and tasting cold cuts, cheeses and breads. Experiencing the Area of Bologna with local wine in a historical location open since 1465.

Then walking through the old town centre, we'll try two iconic homemade pasta in a classical Osteria Bolognese, always paired with another local wine.

We will conclude with the best gelato in town!

We did the gastronomic tour as a family and left delighted and well filled. We tasted typical products as we strolled through the center and the guide was telling stories and curiosities of the city. Perfect plan for a first time in Bologna: better to go hungry and want to walk for a while.

While my wife and I couldn’t wait for our tour with Tours and the City, we unfortunately had a medical issue arise that prevented us from attending. Sadly, Tours and the City was unwilling to offer any flexibility or refund any of the amount we had paid in full, adding further stress to the difficulty of dealing with medical issues abroad.

Great tour around the streets of Bologna but a local guide. The guide was raised in Bologna and gave us a very nice insight into the city. The tour included sights, secrets and delicious food.

If you’re interested in food, drink, walking and a bit of history do this tour. Great fun, friendly and happy to spend time explaining the sites and food. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour - one of the best we’ve had

We had a great time with Frederica. All locations aware great and the food and drink were amazing. We were visiting our daughter on Rome and decided to go up to Bologna for the day.

Roberta was awesome! We showed up late, which was completely my fault, and she still accommodated us and made it a great tour. Get the samurai gelato at the end.

Roberta was super nice and very friendly. We had a lot of fun with our group and she was very informative on the foods that we ate at. Got to try the local bolognian food and the tour also had time for us to relax and get to know the people who were on the tour with us. Would recommend our guide and the tour itself to our friends.
