Learn how to paddle-board and
discover the coast of Portofino from an
unusual and exclusive perspective! Together with an instructor,
learn the basic techniques of the stand up paddle board in the bay of Paraggi, extremely safe as it is forbidden to nautical traffic. And after the course, put the teachings into practice!
Explore the wonders of the promontory and protected marine area of Portofino from an unusual perspective. Thanks to the perfectly perpendicular position on the sea, you can enjoy a breathtaking view, above and below the water.

Be able to swim is required to do this tour
Recommended to bring with you: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, bathing suit, towel, suitable clothing depending on the weather
Requesting a private tour, you will be charged an additional price of €150.
The nautical base is equipped with lockers, available for our customers according to availability. We strongly suggest not to bring valuable items; the staff does not take responsibility for any loss.
In the nearby bay of Paraggi you may find basic services: tabacco shop, bar, restaurant, toilets (toilets not present in our office).
*Respect the environment! Bring your water bottle and fill it up with potable water at our office.

Outdoor Portofino
Outdoor Portofino’s nautical base is located in Niasca in the bay of Paraggi, distant one kilometer from Portofino. The sandy beach is nestled in the green Mediterranean scrub which, only in this sheltered area from sea storms, it arrives to touch the water.

5.00Highly recommend! This was one of our favorite things we did while in Italy. We were able to walk to the meeting point (it was about 20 min walk away from where our cruise ship dropped us off but there was a pedestrian path the whole way and it was a lovely walk with beautiful views.) Our tour guide, Manuel, was amazing! He was patient and helpful. We had six people total (2 adults, 2 young adults, and 2 teens) and he helped us all be able to manage the paddle boards. The whole tour was about two hours and we got to paddle along the shore and see Portofino from the view of the water.

5.00Family of 4 with two teens aged 15 & 17. Activity started promptly and was well organised. Lasted 1.5 hours. Perfect amount of time. A lot of fun and good instructors.

5.00The company is excellent. Unfortunately our trip was postponed due to a storm but they went out of their way to reschedule the following day. Manuel was a great instructor and then Sarah and another instructor took us on an unforgettable tour. They were so patient and helpful and made us feel confident. The company also were looking after many people on the beach who weren’t customers. Outstanding!

5.00Outdoor Portofino provided me with the proper clothes and tools to practice for the first time Paddle Boarding and the instructor was very kind and patient. Overall, it was an amazing experience !!! Fully recommended :)

5.00Great experience! The staff, especially our instructor, very kind. We immediately enjoyed it. We will definitely repeat this experience that makes you spend time having fun with your family. We had to park in Santa Margherita from there we wanted to take a bus that would take us directly to our destination, But alas they were all full and Since we were under the scorching sun, we decided to take a taxi to get to our destination. The taxi from the Santa Margherita parking lot to the destination which was about one and a half kilometers cost us 35 euros. Just arrived there is the free beach, We arrived there an hour early so we could take an hour of bathing in the small beach, very nice.

5.00We are on a cruise that has stopped at Portofino and decided to try the SUP experience with Outdoor Portofino this afternoon. We are a family with two kids ages 12 and 16. We’ve had such a fabulous time. Dario was our guide and he briefed us really well on technique before taking us out for a practice / warm up prior to the experience around the coast. Dario was professional and friendly briefing our group of 7 in both English and Italian. He was also brilliant with the kids. The venue itself is quite small with not a lot of amenities - we walked from Portofino harbour and it was about 20 mins along the main road. We are all exhausted and have fallen in quite a few times but had such a lot of fun and would thoroughly recommend.

5.00My boyfriend and mine first SUP experience. Chill staff, our guide Dario was very nice, explained the technique well and showed us the bay area, as well as teaching us a bit about Portofino's fauna and flora. We had a lovely time and feel confident in wanting to try paddleboarding on our own next time! Definitely recommend it.
