5.00The madurai morning walking tour was magical. We had an amazing visit to the Meenakshi temple which was mesmerising. Then we visited a colorful bazaar where the banana market was enchanting! This is a fun way to understand Madurai.

5.00We really enjoyed our walk with Five Senses guide Muthu. We received very clear information about where to meet our guide well ahead of the walk from the team at 5 Senses. Muthu was friendly and knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions for us about everything we saw. This is a great way to get orientated in the centre of Madurai and uncover some of the working life of the daily markets and how they work - things one wouldn’t know or notice just walking past without a local guide. And also very interesting to better undersdd reams the symbolism, sorrows and rituals in the amazing Meenakshi Temple. Thanks very much Muthu and 5 Senses Walks.

5.00It was a lovely walk in Madurai. Our guide Meenakshi took us through bazaars , streets and the majestic Meenakshi temple. We had very delicious local eats as well. We liked the way our guide explained the heritage and culture of this city. I would recommend anyone to take this 2 hr walk to understand and appreciate Maduro better.

5.00The madurai walk was fantastic. Meenakshi was a terrific guide. He took us through the bylanes, local bazaars and provided fascinating tour of the temple as well. This is the best way to explore Madurai in 2 hrs.
