Mattia is a guide from Parma with natural charisma and a light sense of humor, whose family knowledge of cheesemaking and crafting of Prosciutto di Parma serves his guests wonderfully. ParmaLook has a number of guides who are all assuredly skilled, but I feel glad to have gotten to spend the morning with Mattia, learning about and sampling the wonderful flavors of (authentic) Parmigiano Reggiano e Prosciutto di Parma and discussing travel, filmmaking, and all manner of other topics during our rides to and from the train station!

Our guide was excellent! He took us through the factory, we saw the cheesemaking process from start to finish. The property was beautiful and the tasting afterward was superb!
