We will first stop by in various chocolate shops, where you will try amazing samples. Crunchy hazelnut, dark ganache, salted butter caramel, as well as ginger, tea, coffee, saffron or chili... Forget what you already know, because you’re going to be surprised! Unique to Brussels, the chocolatiers are always experimenting with new flavors, textures and cocoa bean types. The second part is a Belgian Beer tasting session that will take you to bars and taverns around Grand Place. It's a great way to discover small taverns and mix with locals. You will sample beers that are all completely different and all specific to Belgium. You will also get to try some local cheese and cured meat paired with some beer. Abbey beers, Trappists, Lambics, Krieks, Belgian IPAs, Triple Blonds, Double Browns... you name it! During the tour, you will learn about the city history, discover hidden corners and wander off the beaten path. At the end of the day, you will have met some nice, like minded, people and tasted some amazing chocolate and great beers. The perfect combination for an afternoon in Brussels! 5.00f you can only do one thing in Belgium, make it this tour. This was, without question, the best Viator tour I've ever done. Martin was an outstanding guide - his knowledge of Belgian beer and chocolate was incredible, and he made every stop interesting with engaging stories and explanations. I came away feeling like I had learned so much, not just sampled great food and drinks. Speaking of samples, come hungry! There was an amazing amount of beer and chocolate to taste, with delicious waffles and fries mixed in along the way. The tour was also perfectly paced, with an excellent balance of walking through the city and sitting down to relax and enjoy the tastings. I've done many food and drink tours around the world, and this one stands above the rest. I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Martin, for such a memorable experience!

5.00Excellent trip. We were only in Brussels for a couple of days, so this was the perfect tour to see the City Center and try some local beers, chocolate, and waffles. Our tour guide was Daphine and she was awesome.

5.00If you don't have very much time to be in Brussels, as was my case, this is the perfect tour! Martin and Antoine were excellent guides. In four-and-a-half hours, I had the chance to taste five delicious beers, sample 10 exquisite chocolates and learn about the history and culture of Brussels with delightful company!
