We offer a great experience to explore the beauty of east Bali, especially the popular photography spot "Gate of Heaven" of Lempuyang Temple. We will start the tour at 08.00 from the hotel, it will take around 2 - 3 hours drive to Lempuyang Temple (Depend on location of your hotel). We will take you to the famous photo spot of "Gate of Heaven". If the sky is clear and weather is good, you will capture Mount Agung as background of the gate. Next, we will drive to Tirta Gangga, a former Royal Palace of Karangasem Kingdom. After visiting the palace, we will stop for lunch at local restaurant. Next, we will drive to Taman Ujung. It is a beautiful park with big fish pond surrounds the old Karangasem Empire heritage building. And our last stop is Virgin Beach, here you could chill and relax before driving back to hotel.

Lempuyang Temple
Lempuyang Temple is one of Bali’s oldest and most highly regarded temples, on par with Besakih (aka the ‘mother temple’ of Bali). It is also believed to predate the majority of Hindu temples on the island. Definitely a highlight on any travel itinerary for the fit and adventurous, the main temple lies at 1,175m above sea level, up on the peak of the namesake Mount Lempuyang in East Bali.
Tirtagangga Park
Tirta Gangga Water Palace is situated in the middle of rice fields around the natural springs of Rejasa, approximately 7 km. (5 miles) north of Amlapura, the main town of east Bali, Indonesia. Tirtagangga royal watergarden is composed mainly by water, plants and sculptures, is a well-known cultural object of Bali and it belongs to the royal family of Karangasem.

5.00We had an amazing family trip exploring East Bali! Our first stop was Lempuyang Temple, where we enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and the peaceful atmosphere. Although there was a queue for the famous Gate of Heaven photo, the scenery made it worthwhile. Next, we visited Tirta Gangga, which was one of our favorite places. The royal water palace is stunning, with crystal-clear ponds, fountains, and colorful koi fish. Our children especially loved walking across the stepping stones and feeding the fish. Our final stop was Taman Ujung, a beautiful historical water palace surrounded by gardens and overlooking the sea. It was less crowded and perfect for a relaxing family walk while taking plenty of photos. The entire tour was well organized, and our driver NETRA was friendly, punctual, and knowledgeable about the local culture. We never felt rushed and had enough time to enjoy each destination. Overall, this East Bali tour was a wonderful experience for our family. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of culture, history, beautiful scenery, and a relaxing day in Bali.

He takes pictures for us, makes sure we always have water, answers all questions and has a good sense of humor. We are very happy with all the tours this week with Netra.
