1.00I am extremely disappointed with the private tour to Hierve el agua we booked. We paid a hefty sum of $528, expecting a comprehensive experience. However, what we received was nothing more than a 1.5-hour taxi ride and entrance tickets worth $2.70. There was no tour guide and certainly no food included. We feel completely scammed and misled. Furthermore, we realized right after booking that this price was exorbitant for a tour to Hierve el Agua. We tried to contact the company immediately, but they were unreachable. This was a major letdown and a waste of money. I would strongly advise against booking this tour, as it was a complete rip-off.

5.00Hope this is the right place to review our day trip ! We went with Gregorio Escamilla to beautiful Hierve de Aguas , followed by a yummy breakfast, a tour of Mitla , then to the amazing weaver Porfirio in Teotitlan and stopped to see the largest tree in the state of Oaxaca…which was more impressive than I expected. Gregorio had great advice for the timing of our tour( we beat the crowds - it was the week of Dia de Los Muertos) and he is very knowledgeable about all things Oaxacan!
