Fort William is a hub for adventurers and hikers. Today you can either explore the area and go for a hike or venture west towards Mallaig. You will almost drive parallel to the Jacobite Steam Train. Stop at Glenfinnan where you will find an interesting visitor centre, the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Glenfinnan Monument. We recommend to schedule your visit according to the times when the Jacobite Steam Train is crossing the viaduct. Continue to Mallaig. It’s not a big village but is surrounded by lovely white sandy beaches. Return to Fort William. TIP: Travel on the famous Jacobite Steam Train. Just ask, we are here to help.

Personalized planning with a representative that listened to what I wanted to do and see which made this an amazing journey. Firebird reserved Boutique hotels- mostly in small towns, that were accessible for dining and strolling in the evening. They provided private guides and transport each day so that we had maximum experiences with highly knowledgeable guides! Their app provided detailed itinerary details that we could reference via hotel WiFi and were responsive any time we had questions.
