Each tour group is assisted by two professional guides that will get you geared up, teach you how the smart belay system works, and offer coaching and encouragement throughout the course. They’ll also teach you about the local history, flora and fauna that makes Sitka a uniquely Alaskan experience! Unlike zipline tours, on our aerial adventure course your intimately involved in the adventure, using balance and bravery, to make new memories with your loved ones!

Traverse rope and timber obstacles suspended between the trees high above the forest floor. Using a harness and smart belay system you’ll explore progressively challenging pathways alongside our encouraging staff that will also educate you about the flora, fauna and local history of Sitka. Unlike a conventional zipline, this aerial adventure involves swinging ropes, balance bridges and daring climbs into the tree canopy. An orientation and practice run on the ground will help prepare you for the fun and challenges that lie ahead. Afterwards, you will warm up on the easy Squirrel Course, move on to the moderate Fox Course and then pull yourself along the "Tyrolean Traverse" to start the Bear Course. With your confidence now soaring, you will be ready for the high-flying Eagle Course, which ends in the treetops 50 feet above the ground. The descent will be just as exhilarating as you soar back to earth on the "Eagles Flight."

Such a thrilling experience! I have a healthy fear of heights, and my wife is notoriously clumsy, but the sturdy course and high-quality safety gear made it a complete non-factor for both of us. The staff was an amazing vibe—super laid back but totally focused on safety. They even accommodate people with limitations, and if you find yourself unable to continue, you can exit the course at any time. After our brief tutorial, Forest, Emmett, and Kory allowed those who were ready to freely explore under their watchful eyes. Aerial Adventures is worth every penny and definitely worth the trip!

Absolutely amazing experience! The tree top hiking trip was such a fun and unique adventure. The views were beautiful, the trails were well maintained, and being up in the trees made the whole experience feel unforgettable. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel safe the entire time. It was the perfect mix of excitement and nature. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something adventurous and different!

We had a truly amazing time traversing the forest at Sheetka Ropes Adventure. From the moment we were picked up by Corey to the briefing by Forest and the subsequent help through all of the levels of this course, the adventure never stopped. With a focus on safety and ensuring our comfort, the team were professional and helpful and made sure that at all times we felt supported and empowered to complete the increasingly difficult challenges. The setting in a beautiful Alaskan forest only served to heighten the experience. This is a highly worthwhile experience to really feel like you are communing with Alaska’s natural beauty and we highly recommend this to all ages (we are 65 and 57).

Loved it! Not really thinking about how fun and exciting it would be for me, I was really amazed at how much it tested my strength and coordination but the best part this adventure helped me find confidence in my abilities and yet have fun while doing so. The Guides helps you every part of the way and gives you pointers to be safe and successful in your climbs. Thank you so much

Staff bent over backwards to allow our granddaughter to do the course on her own and it was the high light of her trip. She loved the experience and the challenge of the course. Guides did an excellent job getting everyone ready to go and covering safety. Allowed everyone to go at their own pace. If you love rope courses this one is excellent.

Had so much fun on the ropes courses at Sheet’ka Treetop Adventures! If you don’t mind heights, it is a fun thing to do in Sitka. The location is gorgeous, and the staff were all very friendly! This was one of my favorite Alaska excursions.
