The tour is accessible to disabled people if accompanied or provided with motor vehicles. The slopes are such as not to allow the individual disabled traveler to move easily independently on each site of the guided tour
In the period 15 February - 6 April 2026 the tour does not include a guided tour inside the Basilica of St. Francis due to the display of the remains of St. Francis. Access will be allowed only by Reservation required and free of charge. During this period more space will be devoted to visiting other Franciscan places in the city without detracting from the general spirit of the tour offered to visitors.
If necessary you can change both the time and meeting point DA where to start the tour by contacting the Guide directly after the Guided Tour Reservation.

5.00Monia was an amazing guide for our day exploring Umbria. We started with a lovely tour through Bavagna, did a local wine tasting overlooking the hills, and then spent our afternoon in Assisi. Monia was incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant. I'd highly recommend the tour!

5.00We had Monia M for our guide of Assissi. She is clear, kind, and flexible. My mother has limits on how much she can walk at a time and she expertly helped adapt to having a wheelchair and driver along. We learned a lot, saw a lot and especially enjoyed the church of St Francis. Thank you Monia.

She answered any question we asked, and spent more than the allotted time with us. We learned so much from our tour with her, and it was worth every penny.
